Great label printer with ONE software bug

So after using the DYMO label and stamp printer (which was a terrible label and stamp printer) and spending the money on postage stamps). So I went with this model from Brother, they have a special offer where you can top up money and print only what you need WITHOUT monthly fees or minimum stamp purchases (the special offer is included in the documents that came with the printer became). in box) I like this feature best because I want to buy stamps on demand rather than for a monthly fee likeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Super fast, prints up to 93 labels per minute
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

If you intend to print over a wireless network, please read this.

The printer works. Hooray. I was hoping to use it in my shed (away from my computer and internet service) with my iPhone to create personalized product packaging labels for businesses. Well you can't. The app is terrible. You CANNOT create a custom shortcut on your computer and send it to an app on your phone or iPad. If you're trying to create your own shortcut through the app, it's nearly impossible. All the templates in the app are extremely limited and some have silly things like cupcakesโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Create cost-effective paper labels for packages, envelopes, file folders, disks, banners and more
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Where are the super app authors? The raster API is open.

Oh what a joy to see Revain's dynamic pricing. Today the price is "50%" even though I only paid $10 more a week ago. Setting up WiFi is easy once you understand how everything works and what security protocols are configured on your router, SSID, and WEP/WPA password. , etc. Despite this information, it is very important to connect via USB to set up the printer. The configuration wizards on the installation CD will probably work, although they can make the documentation much easier toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Ultra-fast printing at up to 93 labels per minute
Cons
  • Some little things

Great printer, but he's happy when he's done.

This was an emergency replacement for my old Brother Smart Label Printer 440 which gave up halfway through printing the shipping label. Partly due to slight brand loyalty and partly based on user feedback in Revain and elsewhere, I settled on the middle of this line. The younger model wasn't wireless and the older model was wireless, but it also had an extra serial port, which I didn't need anymore a few years ago when Apple switched to its own connection and eventually settled on USB. Pros
  • Print labels on the go with the free Brother iPrint&Label app download
Cons
  • Some errors
