I bought this adapter because the arm on the second showerhead connection is supposed to swivel. This is the only one I have found that offers this nice feature. The original diverter that came with shower wand broke because it was made of plastic. Parts of this one is metal. Only used it for 5 days, but works well and does not reduce the shower pressure to the main shower head like the old one did.

My old diverter had given out and I was lucky enough to find this one that matched my shower head and handheld. It works perfect and is made of high quality material. It’s easy to use and the transition from one component to the next is fluid and flawless. No leaks and easy to install. I would definitely recommend.

My husband was called to replace a shower diverter for one of our neighbors. The first one that he got from home depot,was plastic inside and snapped,so we researched it on Walmart and found one with brass inside,much sturdier and has been working fine.

This item was purchased as a replacement for a different diverter that just did not cut it. This one was easy to install with no leaks, the handle moves smoothly and 100% of the water is diverted at the proper handle position as expected. As opposed to the previous diverter where there was always a leak from the main attachment, and then no matter what position the handle was in there was water coming from all directions. Just got this so only time will tell how long it will last.

I tried many diverters and they all restricted the water flow. This unit has larger channels that allow enough flow to run the shower head and wand at the same time. It's still somewhat restricted, but the highest flow I could find.

this is a very well made diverter that does its job and works as well today as it did 8 months ago. In my experience diverters like this don't last very long. More frequent use = shorter service life. This valve has a lot of miles on it and still works cherry. I got this product because it offers the arm for the hose to the side of the main shower head. My previous unit from Speakman leaked regardless how tight we turned (to the point we striped out the finish), this one doesn't. It took literally a minute to install. It's solid brass, solid all around. Also, love the dial which I could have the main shower head and the hand held on at the same time.

Shower diverter is great, seems to be good and not cheap material. easy to install both our shower heads and super easy to switch to my shower head vs my husbands. the only 2 downfalls is the length between the 2 and one side is easy to turn down depending on weight of shower head. luckily i changed my shower head to the one that doesn't move and my husband to the one that does and because they are close together. it holds his up from turning down towards the ground. other than that. pleased…

Works as described BUT leaks around the selector valve when the shower knob is turned up, I have lower the water pressure slightly to prevent the leaking. Otherwise very easy to install and use. The side nozzle being on a swivel is nice to allow rotating the shower hose attachment rearward behind the shower caddy and not sticking out.

this is a beautiful solid brass water diverter which is very easy to install and very easy to use but it cut my water pressure in half so I had to return it which is a shame because it’s very high-quality. I read most of the reviews and most of them said it didn’t cut the pressure but it sure did in my shower.

After having gone through two Delta and one off brand diverter valve I saw this one to try. If it lasts more than a year then I am ahead. The swivel connection is a great idea, but the nut has too few threads to adequately secure to my Culligan filter assembly. Straight to the shower arm would probably be okay but I had to install an adapter.

I just installed this last night and yes, it's a diverter but what makes this stand out from the rest is that the "outlet" for your personal hygiene tool points straight down. This keeps the additional hose out of the way and no more trying to deal with the hose pointing to the side

It's heavy and feels sturdy, the connector for the handheld can move but I didn't like that it's bent, it would be better if it were straight because it limits the size of the shower head you can install. I was installing a fairly wide one, about 6" in diameter and I had to turn the handheld rest to the side then turn the handheld in. Luckily Walmart has an easy return policy because this was junk. Hooked up and turned on water and it started spraying out of the diverted valve. Decided to go with a better quality version.
