The quality was generally satisfied, there were minor shortcomings.

After installation on Windows X Pro, the software was "lost" in an incomprehensible place and access to it for configuration could not be found. It opens in auto mode only when connected to a working computer via a USB port. The documentation consists of huge, repeatedly folded paper "footcloths" that are replete with security warnings in different languages and other protocol nonsense. As for the features of working with software and the correct installation of the necessary parameters, then

Pros
  • Quite compact and lightweight, powered by a PC, so a separate block for plugging into a power outlet is not required.
Cons
  • Mediocre software and vague instructions, because of which working with this device turns into a complete disappointment.

Best price for this product, will buy more!

I am satisfied with the scanner - the only negative is described in the shortcomings, but it is solved. I took old family photos for digitization - I've already scanned several hundred - I'm satisfied with the quality. As an example, in the photo - the cover of the book, scanned as a picture and as a pdf - highlighted the text on it.

Pros
  • Fast Scan. Convenient auto-scan button. Possibility to put several photos side by side and scanning will create separate files. The program in the kit has enough basic functions for most tasks. Including the automatic creation of pdf-files with recognized text - that is, you can scan a document and then calmly copy the text from it (depending on the document, the percentage of recognition varies, but in general 95-100% ).
Cons
  • When connected via a USB hub together with other devices, connection / scanning errors sometimes fly out - perhaps there is not enough power. It is better to connect directly to the USB port of the computer.

It is impossible to use, a bad product.

I bought this scanner today and was disappointed. Before that, I used an old, old Epson Stylus Photo TX650 MFP to scan photos (this is not an advertisement, you can’t buy it anywhere for a long time). The quality suited me, but an MFP is an MFP, you can’t take it anywhere with you, it takes up a lot of space and weighs decently. But it turned out that the scan quality of the new scanner is much worse. Compared to photography, it feels like I used to shoot with a DSLR, but now I switched to a…

Pros
  • — Weight, dimensions - More or less smart software (the scanner itself cuts the photos that I scan in one go and pretty well) - You can put it vertically on a stand, but I still don’t understand why this is and how to scan then
Cons
  • - Quality! I expected more - Price, because with such scanning quality one could buy some Chinese noname at half the price - Vietnamese plastic sucks, the Canon logo is just a sticker in the recess. In general, everything is the cheapest. - I noticed that a couple of times in the photo the lines moved a little, as if someone moved the photo a little while scanning. This effect can be compared even with games when v-sync is disabled.

I bought this scanner for use at home, mainly for scanning and sending documents. So far, the scanner has done an excellent job with this task. Has pros: 1) Scan quality 2) Easy to connect 3) Small dimensions 4) Acceptable price Cons: The construction of the scanner itself feels rather flimsy, but it's hard to expect anything else at this price.

Good product for me, no problems at all.

I bought the product in the M. Video store (in April 2022 - order 96784214). Designed by self-delivery from the store at Hong Kong, Svobodny pr-t, 33, Trade House "Perovsky". The guys quickly arranged and issued the goods. The store checked the appearance of the scanner - there were no questions to it. Advice for those who are planning to buy it! Fragile cover for scanning, so make sure that he finds himself a place in your house, where food, reams of papers, mugs, laptops, etc. will not be…

Pros
  • The scanner is worth the money. Easily connects to a laptop and wireless, which makes it possible to use it remotely outside the home through a laptop (if you need to scan documents in high quality). There is a button for continuous scanning, which subsequently translates the document into . pdf format. The drivers for Windows 7 were installed automatically, for Windows 10 I had to configure it myself. When working on Windows 10, it "swears" a little - it works only through the installed program, not through the buttons. On a laptop with Windows 7, there are no such problems. Scanning quality can be adjusted independently through the installed program on the laptop. With high resolution settings, of course, it scans for a long time! But for example, when scanning photos (for subsequent processing in Photoshop), the quality is decent! You can customize the formats of scanned documents, which is also convenient. Of course, if it is not important for you that the photos are well scanned, then I do not advise you to buy such a unit at all, since the phones and the applications installed on them cope with everything. It was important for me that it was wireless (to 220V), easy to use and good quality photos when scanning. Yes - it scans for a long time! , but its price is not 10 thousand, so that it scans in 1-2 seconds.
Cons
  • written above. When operating on Windows 10, the buttons do not work. But this trouble can only be with me, because I could have installed something wrong when connecting.

Good product for me, no problems at all.

Has pros: A good unit. Plugged it in, registered it and it works. I took it to work with text documents, everything suits. Has cons: I thought that I would manage through the interface from the computer screen with the possibility of settings . this is not

I like everything, the quality is good, the price is acceptable.

I purchased this scanner to scan rare stickers. Sadly, the scanner leaves behind artifacts in the form of vertical stripes that make it appear as though the image is not a whole but rather is composed of stripes. The stripes pass through around 865 pixels at 1200 dpi resolution. I emailed Canon Support with a question. while awaiting a response. Artifact photos are included.

Pros
  • compact, USB-powered
Cons
  • Artifact-filled scans

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

I haven’t used a scanner for a long time . the last one was which warmed up for 5 seconds. 10 years later, almost nothing has changed. only warming up became almost imperceptible. But it still fidgets before scanning and each time the nonsense returns to the starting point - and could scan the next page on return. Probably you have to pay for it separately. Pros below: inexpensive, popular you won't find better in this budget tolerable scan speed no separate charger required expected…

Quickly installed the driver and utility from the office. site all at once earned without any dances with a tambourine. In general, the device is worthy, you can take it. Its pros: Design Dimensions USB powered - no power supply, Scanning speed from 7-8 seconds from the moment the button is pressed, does not preheat Scan Quality Possibility of installation vertically Convenient keyboard shortcuts on the scanner itself Functional application with a bunch of settings With one button you can make…

The purchase was not worth it at all.

The scanner was not damaged, the wire was intact, when connected, the scanner warmed up - And that's it. Didn't scan. An error occurred in the program: the scanner or the usb wire was not connected, despite the fact that the wire was connected and the scanner was warming up. I think to consider another model. Eh. No luck. With its pros. The scanner itself is very stylish, thanks to the vertical stand - compact, only USB wires. COOL! Has some cons Not working software. Because of this, I had to

I'm satisfied, the product is exactly as described.

I bought this scanner to scan collectible stickers. Unfortunately, the scanner leaves artifacts on the images - vertical stripes, as if the image is not a whole but is made up of vertical stripes. At a resolution of 1200dpi, the stripes go through about 865 px. I wrote a question to canon support. While waiting for an answer. Photos of artifacts attached.

Pros
  • Small size, USB powered
Cons
  • Scans with artifacts

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product suited me, I will recommend it to my friends.

After a day I will add a review)) In general, the scanner is normal for its money. Scans documents normally, for home use or a small office will do. During the day, the noise is not very audible. All the same, it is incorrect to compare a flatbed scanner for $ 70 and a stationary MFP for $ 2,000. For your money - quite normal. For artists and for working with photography - read the reviews, it’s not a fact that it’s suitable. It is better to look with a CCD sensor.

Pros
  • Vertical arrangement, takes up little space. The presence of functional buttons.
Cons
  • Scanning quality after normal office MFPs is quite low. Noisy like an unlubricated cart. Scanning late in the evening or at night, without the risk of waking up children or spouse, will not work. Not expected.

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

New model, no reviews at all, had to play the lottery. The other new 300 model was completely negative, so it was a little scary to take it (later it turned out that many online stores overestimated the characteristics of this 300 model in relation to the real specification, which is why customers are disappointed). At first glance, it's still the same good old Canon LiDE 220 (previous senior home-office model) with a redesigned and slightly increased scanning speed. Also on the rear panel, the

Pros
  • The fastest scanning speed in the LiDE line at a relatively high resolution. "LiDE" image enhancement technology (tri-color LEDs).
Cons
  • If you open the lid all the way until it locks, then it closes in the "Z" mode (which is needed for books and other thick documents) and you need to make an extra movement to close as usual.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like everything, the price and the quality are both ok.

Bought for remote work and exclusively for working with documents, so photo scanning is not taken into account in the assessment. Honestly, I didn’t scan the pictures, I don’t know. That is, the scope in my case is narrow. By scanning documents. - speed is VERY helpful, it is this quality that I need most of all at work. - generally scans well, good quality from 1 pass. - has already paid for itself. ViewScan detected the scanner easily, I use it mainly out of habit. No problem. I tried the…

Pros
  • Speed, simplicity, ease of operation
Cons
  • Top cover, double-sided document scanning (subjectively, in places), easily soiled

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

To get good quality scans, I would advise you to use standard software and try the effect of the settings on the operation of the device. When scanning through TWAIN and WIA modules in applications, I was much less pleased with the result. Photo distortions (mixing) were also observed when scanning through these photo modules in high resolution. Maybe I haven't tested long enough to get an opinion.

Pros
  • Great Document Scanner! If you need scans of photos, take them with a CCD sensor. Differences in the principle of operation of CIS and CCD can be viewed in detail on the Internet. High scanning speed - about 4 seconds per document (colour, grayscale, b&w) at 300dpi resolution (USB3.0 connection).
Cons
  • It may take some getting used to scanning book spreads (I didn't scan). To scan a photo, I would not take it because of the sensor. But there was an experience of scanning a couple of photos - it turned out well. The color rendition seemed pretty accurate to me. However, I can not confirm - I scanned too few pictures.

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

I took home to scan postcards for postcrossing and documents (now they often require one or the other in different places), plus a child for school. There is experience with scanners, so documentation is generally not needed. I admit that the use of functions unknown to me will make the work even more convenient, but I'm fine anyway. Stands upright on the table. Takes up little space. If you need to quickly scan some little thing (postcard or one sheet), then I scan like this. If there are more

Pros
  • Lightweight, not big, just plugs in, decent scan quality.
Cons
  • Lack of documentation even in electronic form on the attached disk (at least I did not find it). You can find it on the Internet. In a vertical position, scanning is possible, but not very convenient. When transferring, it is easy to press the "quick" button.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality product, the price is commensurate with the quality.

The glass and the back of the lid must be perfectly clean, otherwise the scanner scans in pdf format, so it’s better to touch the glass less, and when replacing photos, raise the scanned image with the next image. When you turn it on for the first time, we first go to the canon website, and follow the step-by-step instructions, at the end we connect the scanner and that's it, you can use it.

Pros
  • Ease of connection, scan quality
Cons
  • Everything suits me

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, more pros than cons.

1) There was a feeling that it was possible to save a thousand and take the younger model lide-300, scanning with a resolution of 1200 dpi for my needs (old photos, documents, books) is clearly redundant, and 2400 is completely useless. 2) Save someone a couple of hours and a bunch of nerve cells. If Linux (in my case mint20) when you try to scan persistently tells you that "device busy" - remove the ippusbxd package and everything will be fine (I did). Let me quote here a blessed message from…

Pros
  • Scans with decent, in my unprofessional opinion, quality. Under windows earned without problems.
Cons
  • The manufacturer refused to officially support Linux, but the driver still provides and after some manipulations the device works in this OS)
