Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

Great little one! With 2700 mAh batteries and a rag bag, I don’t pull it out of the bag at all. The ratio "price-quality" is unambiguously observed! The camera is very neat, I bought it to replace the five-year-old Canon and was very pleased. I am not a professional photographer, I just realized at one moment that I could no longer squeeze anything out of the old camera, I wanted something richer in functions, but inexpensive. This device is 150% justified! As a companion of a novice…

Pros
  • - AA batteries (I don't worry during long trips); - compact; - a lot of settings, a huge number of shooting modes (there would be straight arms . but I don't have them yet, but I'm trying ^_^); - video is VERY high quality (although a camera .), a convenient video recording button (no need to switch the wheel to video mode); - manual flash (for me - a significant plus, I really like to shoot without a flash, but previous models sinned by automatically turning it on even when it was turned off by force); - macro photography (wow, this is generally a song! photos are VERY high-quality, periodic misses are treated by correcting the curvature of the hands (in my case) or manual focusing); - software included (a very decent set of programs and utilities, some of which are only bundled with the camera, they are not downloaded anywhere separately (I mean the official version, of course)).
Cons
  • - like all Canons of a similar line - you can not monitor the battery charge. That is, at one fine moment, charging starts flashing SUDDENLY - and the camera is cut down; - flash charging (long, 5-6 seconds sometimes), and the flash itself, with a strong approximation in a dimly lit room, is practically useless; - when shooting video from a tripod, it starts to focus during shooting (occasionally loses clarity, but quickly recovers); - buzzing :) (there is such a hidden mode without sound, it seems to be, it really removes all the sounds of the camera (if you have not turned them off in the settings), but not the focus sound).

Good product, not disappointed.

It is clear that most do not want to rack their brains with manual settings and prefer to shoot in auto mode. Pictures in this case are mediocre. Select manual mode P, set the minimum ISO (80 or 100) and that's it - get amazing quality photos. But HD-video, although very high quality, has no practical value. An hour-long movie takes up 14 gigabytes, and to burn it to a DVD, you still have to compress it to 4.5 GB due to quality degradation.

Pros
  • Affordable price, excellent zoom, design, AA batteries, cool HD-video (removes better than a camcorder), excellent stabilization.
Cons
  • Overestimation of ISO in auto mode (many people write about this), fast battery consumption.

The quality is top notch and I recommend the product for purchase.

A fotik was bought for photographs of the board when you are sitting at a lecture and too lazy to redraw what the teacher writes. In principle, he coped with the task on 4+. In addition, I received manual photo settings, I had to forget about auto mode, because. he is not very good. I read on the Internet that you can stick a firmware with a raw photo on it, but I didn’t do it, because. at the household level and so enough. In the shutter priority mode, it is quite possible to take photos at…

Pros
  • Manual mode, price, no glitches when connected to a computer.
Cons
  • I barely found a cover, there is an appetite for batteries.

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

I have been using the baby for 4 years already. He takes the best pictures only on manual settings. AA - minus? the self-discharge of these batteries (AA Ni-Mh) is reduced by 30-40%, which means that the duration of shooting increases (by the way, the capacity of a lithium battery drops sharply in cold weather). Maximum shots on these batteries (when fully charged) - 400 ( maximum resolution + scenes / effects) + 5 clips (1280 * 720) for 4-5 minutes. Filmed without a flash (it sits very…

Pros
  • Convenient. Many settings and modes. Ni-Mh batteries.
Cons
  • I have been looking for 4 years already. But for such a price - they are not.

I'm happy with it, the price and the quality, I recommend to buy it.

Good shot, no regrets. If you write video in HD mode, then only on batteries, and I definitely do not recommend philips, only Varta, enedg, Sanyo. (Not advertising !) If you try to write video in HD, powering the camera from lithium batteries, then nothing will work. For at 20 seconds the fotik will require to REPLACE BATTERIES. This is not a disadvantage. Everything is fine. But in VGA, record the video for about 1 hour, and there will be 70 more photos with a flash. Somehow I found a…

Pros
  • 1. The speed of operation, on / off, switching between modes, quick saving of pictures. 2. Zoom is super. 12x really enhances what you can’t see with your eyes. 3. The image stabilizer does a great job. More precisely, at 12x magnification outdoors in non-sunny weather, it copes well with the shaking of the operator's hands, I tried it at a shutter speed of 1\50 3. The presence of AA batteries. You won't be left without food. 4. Separate button for video recording, very convenient. 5. The price for this is as adequate as possible. 6. Completely manual control! Exposure, aperture. 7. Although the assembly is China, the body is clearly knocked down. No backlash, no squeaks.
Cons
  • It is difficult to talk about the shortcomings in the camera for 5990. but. 1. At maximum zoom in a room with insufficient lighting, when recording a video, autofocus floats, the picture itself does not twitch, but the focus jumps. 2. Video in HD mode is only 21 minutes. I want 45 minutes. 3. Working ISO is only 80-100, you are unlikely to set it higher, because the noise is unbearable. 4. Distorts colors in video recording. 5. When zooming the video, then when viewing, the operation of the zoom engine is heard (tolerable for me). But this is honestly written in the fotik's passport.

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

I am a professional photo/video shooter. There is a 5D Mark2 DSLR and a set of lenses, but I needed a lighter, smaller camera for vacations + with good macro. Chose between G12 and SX150. As a result, I was inclined to believe that buying a G12 with a DSLR is unjustified. In addition, the G12 is more massive and heavier than the SX150. I studied all the offers on the market in this price segment. I looked at the tests. As a result, I took the Canon SX150. Without a doubt, this camera, in its

Pros
  • Fully manual control 12x optical zoom Focusing in Macro mode from 1 cm! Small size and weight. AA batteries are a big plus! You will not be left without food anywhere.
Cons
  • Noisy at high ISO. Vertical viewing angles of the screen at an extremely budget level.

Great quality, happy with it one hundred percent!

A successful model, like the previous SX120-130. There are better, but 2-3 times more expensive. The camera is a bit big for a compact, but it is comfortable to hold. I really like the flash control. Needed - opened, not needed - closed. Nothing jumps up and you don’t need to go into the menu. After turning off unnecessary functions, a pair of batteries is enough for 400-500 shots. Two pairs of batteries and a simple charge completely solve the problem of power on trips.

Pros
  • Good (even excellent for a soap dish) photo quality. Convenient management. Affordable price. AA batteries are a plus for me. Long zoom stabilization really helps.
Cons
  • In non-ideal conditions, autofocus works uncertainly. Sometimes you have to switch to manual. The flash takes a long time to charge. With increasing ISO noise grows faster than in devices with a CMOS sensor. Battery charge indication is very approximate. The lid on the battery compartment is embarrassing - it looks somewhat fragile.

The product is the most common, it could be worse.

Before a trip to Turkey, Israel and Palestine in September, I bought a Canon SX 150 IS. A friend of mine had one like this, but 120. I liked it, especially the 150 later model. More megapixels and more zoom. In addition, it is compact, and consumes only 2 batteries or accumulators, and plus a lot of manual settings. In general, it shoots cool, quickly, without complaints. But when I looked at pictures from other cameras, about the same price class, and even in the old version. For example, a…

Pros
  • Appearance, high-quality assembly, compactness, large optical zoom, 2 AA batteries or rechargeable batteries.
Cons
  • Photo

Good product, more pros than cons.

I bought the device, mostly for video (additional angles during the filming of the video). The HD quality is quite satisfactory. The characteristics indicate the ability to write both 25 and 30 frames per second, however, the Chinese have not bothered with these subtleties for a long time and leave only one NTSC 29.97 frame / sec mode. Checked on a dozen models. Everywhere is the same. Two systems are declared, but in real life there is only one (in all ! soap dishes of this class). Both NTSC…

Pros
  • The quality of photos for this price category is quite satisfactory. Using AA elements. Batteries 2300 ma / h are enough for an hour and a half of video recording. Also a big plus is the increased weight for this class of soap dishes. Much more comfortable to hold, less shaking in the hands due to inertia.
Cons
  • The inability to write video in the PAL system. (writes only in NTSC)

It was a reasonable purchase, will order more.

I would like to begin to praise this model, but I'll start with the main drawback. These are batteries. In vain, manufacturers saved on a normal battery, I would not mind overpaying an extra 1,000, but AA batteries are not always good. Those that were in the kit were enough for about 65 photographs, with a flash I shot about 10 times. I had to buy, as advised, special rechargeable batteries with a charger, which cost a lot, but I hope that they stand. So far I have bought one pair of batteries,

Pros
  • Image quality, lots of filters, easy controls.
Cons
  • Batteries.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

A good quality camera for the home. And what is sometimes very important with ordinary AA batteries, which are sold at any corner if something happens. Two 2700 mAh batteries are enough for 250-350 shots, depending on how often the flash is used (which, by the way, is fully controllable). "Manual" mode allows you to achieve saturated shots, even without a flash, in low light conditions. Also, when shooting fast moving objects, you can adjust the exposure time. Focuses pretty fast. For…

Pros
  • Manual settings. Good optical zoom. Good flash. Focus illumination. Manual focus. Price.
Cons
  • MOV container for video files. For this size, in my opinion, a little heavy.

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

I wanted to borrow 650 Canon. I scored a bolt on a loan, took 150 instead of a DSLR. While saving up, 650 will become cheaper) Took for shooting a child. I practically don’t use auto mode (my wife uses it), but even she gets great pictures. Of course it's not a mirror! There is nothing to compare soap dishes with them ! (the matrix is noisy, focuses slowly . etc., etc.) Fuck those smart guys. I had to adjust the quality, flash, autofocus. And only after that I felt the difference…

Pros
  • 1. Price - quality 22022 cr. Zoom 3. AA batteries 4. Variety of scenes 5. Smart autofocus. 6. The ability to set the aperture-shutter speed yourself 7. Size ) 8. Excellent optics for a soap dish.
Cons
  • 1. He eats batteries like he breathes))) I was ready for this, it is treated by turning off the constant focus and reducing the flash power. 2. Really noisy at dusk, spit at me if the rest of the soap dishes at dusk do not make noise without a flash. 3. The flash takes 3-5 seconds to charge. Even with reduced power. For a long time (((

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

an excellent camera for home use. take a word. I chose a camera for almost a month. I read reviews. and discussions of many cameras. in the end I took a flash drive of a battery and pashol in shops and bazaars they just filmed us with my daughters. the range of cameras from 50 dollars to 350 what they offered the seller himself asked me to look at something. They came home and looked at the monitor)))) PRICE DOES NOT AFFECT QUALITY in this price range. There was a Canon soap dish for 73 tanks…

Pros
  • beautiful photos. the price is very pleasing
Cons
  • no. you can almost always find a way out
