My bad purchase of the printer

This is a terrible printer. It suffers from poor color accuracy (color photos are consistently dark and faint), very long periods of unavailability (many, many long minutes of clinking and buzzing with the "Please wait a moment" message) before printing, frequent false paper jams (when the printing stops and reports a phantom jam when there is no paper in the feed path) and ink cartridge errors that you won't let the printer fix because you can't remove the cartridge when all the ink is left (A

Forget "wireless ". - Photo printer

There is only one problem but a big one - the device just won't connect to my wifi network no matter what I do and no matter what tricks I try. I see that others have had the same problem. To be honest it prints beautifully, especially photos, but only in wired mode. So if you're okay with a purely wired setup and your requirements are just printing (no copying or faxing), then you might be satisfied with this device. (I - I bought 2 of these and use them both, mainly for printing photos.) But…

A real fault of the printer

Unfortunately I can only give 1 star because it prints and the ink lasted a long time. However, it has many other flaws that make buying it a bummer. First, it's big and takes up a lot of space. Secondly, you will most likely need to place it close to your computer since most people (myself included) don't manage to connect and stay connected wirelessly. Third, it's pretty noisy. Fourth, it has no fax or scan capabilities. Fifth, you have to use the cartridges until they run dry to replace…

A complete piece of crap

We bought this printer a few years ago I think based on the decent Revain reviews? I'm only writing this review now because we finally got rid of this junk. I just bought a new Epson which has everything this Canon doesn't have, so while the Canon still 'works' it goes in the bin. I would donate it to a local thrift store, but I feel like I shouldn't cause people the pain we've been through. Our problems.? 1.) It's big, heavy and cumbersome, way too big considering it's just a printer. Initial…

This is one hell of a printer priced at

. I have to buck the trend because I love this printer. First off, this wasn't your home office rolled into one. This should be used in a corporate environment as a network photo printer for a floor or a small workgroup. I have 2 other Canon printers, TR and TS. This ib4120 outperforms these two printers in print quality. It can spit out a 20-page document before either one makes all those mysterious noises when you first press the power button. PLUS the ammo in this thing is HUGE. They last at
