No minuses as such, comfortable to use.

Well, since it's a "replacement", then I will compare it with EOS M, but the advantages and disadvantages of the latter, as well as the "system" as a whole, are no longer here. I got a fairly fast AF, which the EOS M is quite reliable, but very leisurely. The turn-on speed is "normal", but not a rocket. It's not stressful. Ergonomicsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Protected from accidental screen taps touch interface, direct access to PASM shooting parameters from a physical manipulator and the most-demanded other parameters, rubberized grip, working AF, more necessary flash settings. Cons

This device is definitely overpriced. Before him was the Canon EOS M. It had terrible autofocus. Nightmare. This one is much better, now it does not focus for half an hour during sunset on the horizon. The picture is better, there is a little more noise. I would never buy this model without having 5 Canon lenses in my fleet. But as a second device it is very convenient. You don't have to carry a backpack. Hanging around the neck does not interfere. I keep it in my bag every day, just in caseโ€ฆ

Focus is smooth and fast, which is very nice, because it catches the most colorful moments. I shoot with it even in poor lighting, ISO allows. Now photography is art for me.
