Not installed yet but I keep getting glitches

I have not installed the carpet yet so I can only share my observations based on appearance. I will install it with stainless steel brackets, which should work quickly. The material is heavy enough for my needs. Its color doesn't matter. Revain shouldn't constantly solicit customer feedback if it often takes time to use a purchase. Think of a way to delay the review until it has useful information, rather than just watching the product, like I did, until it's actually used.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Good quality but needs a few inches longer

to fit on the two front berths of my boat trailer. Each of them is a bar 75 inches long and 2 inches by 6 inches in size. Well, I didn't count, and in the end I had to buy the second part. Truth? Is this unique to my boat or are forward bunks typically shorter than 75 inches? 13ft vs 12ft would do the job but no! lol Anyway, it attaches easily to the bunks and feels thicker and higher quality than the previous rug. Be sure to use monel clamps and not stainless steel when working in a marineโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Bought large and bulky

everything was fine once, the carpet came on the second run.

My old bunk carpet lasted 17 years! Rebuilt my main bunk boards, lowered the boat once everything was great, on the second descent the carpet fell apart on one of the boards, we flipped the boat over until the boat with the hole comes up when urinating, then flipped the trailer and dived into the water, the bunks are full when loaded, the boat checked, there are no loose rivets to hook the carpet in, it's right in the top corner for about 3 feet, the bunks are 9 feet 4 inches long, that's inโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hard wearing surface
Cons
  • Replaceable

Heavy Duty Trailer Carpet

I covered the bunks of a Tritoon pontoon trailer. I cut the 18" wide into 2-9" wides that covered the tops, sides and partially covered the bottom of the 2" x 4" painted pine boards. By not covering all of the ground, the water can drain off the tree much more quickly. I discussed the use of pressure treated lumber (micronized copper azole) with a treatment supplier who said aluminum pontoons with pressure treated lumber are at high risk of corrosion. They strongly discourage the use of treated

  • Great Price

  • Not Bad

Tracks and Rollers Only time will tell

I have carpeted trailer berths and a board for a 2 person jet ski trailer. I bought a CE Smith rug for the bunk and a "somewhere per foot" brand for the board. I watched many videos on YouTube to see how to get it working. First I made trailer bunks with Smith carpet. Working with the blacksmith carpet was very good. I found the density of the carpet (pile) and the finish of the carpet could be better. I was able to cut it to length and work with it very easily. However, I can't confirm theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank
