Very disappointed - telescopes

Easy to assemble. Gave it to my son for Christmas but doesn't work. I've read the instructions several times and I still don't understand why. It looks like the lens cap is still attached when looking through it, but it's not. you see nothing at all.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Heaven is not what we think it is.

An excellent entry-level sight for those interested in lunar and celestial observation. Very durable and well made for one of the smaller models. I recommend 2x and higher Barlow scopes for deeper vision. Tip: For a clear view, try keeping the lenses high in the scope so the image is sharp, similar to a manual zoom. Get moon filters and experiment with other lenses, no matter the brand, only 1.25 inches for sizes, overall very happy with my purchase, me and my son love it.

Great first telescope! I love my!

I really like this telescope. It was my first telescope ever and I bought it from Revain one Christmas when it was on sale. I know very little about telescopes but I was able to find the stars and of course the moon with this telescope and I even managed to take photos with my iPhone 5 through the telescope. It takes patience and a bit of luck to take a picture, but I took a few shots that I really enjoyed. Here are some of the moons I photographed last night, July 12, 2016.

Great telescope, especially for beginners

What a great telescope! It was really easy to set up (and I'm a complete novice at these things). We first tested it on trees and signs in our area and the clarity is truly amazing! There was a full moon that night and it was just amazing! I held my phone to the viewfinder and took a few pictures. You can see all the details of the craters, so amazing! The telescope is bigger than I expected so it takes up a lot of space in the house and you can't store it after you set it up, but as it looks…

I recommend it! suitable for refractors

can definitely recommend this telescope. When I was looking for a new telescope I came across this one. This telescope caught my attention. When I got it I was surprised how big and bulky it is. To be honest, when I saw some reviews that said planets could be seen with this telescope, I was a bit skeptical. But I met my expectations. Until recently I could see Jupiter, the moon, shooting stars and Saturn. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Jupiter and Saturn through the telescope. However…

Best Price in Refractors

I paid $150. Setup was easy. I used a remote tree to calibrate the viewfinder. The main scam is trying to keep objects in the viewfinder due to the Earth's rotation. I try to rotate the telescope but it wants to return to its previous position. It tightens, but comes at a low cost. I often have to use the red dot finder to re-aim. I haven't seen a red spot on Jupiter, but I've seen 3 of its satellites. Mars looks like a slightly larger orange sphere. It's so cool to see the rings of Saturn…

Reliable, high quality visor for beginners.

It won't give you Hubble or Voyager quality photos, and it won't allow you to see Jupiter the size of a tennis ball. What it will do is give you an impressively good view of the moon, let you see Mars well enough to see some colors, make the Galilean moons look like magic, and show Saturn's clearly defined rings . If you have a fairly good idea of the sky and its surroundings, a telescope can tell you many things worth seeing, and is powerful enough to allow a novice astronomer to observe the…

Great telescope for hobbyists

Most people like reflectors, but all those collimators just put me off. My AstroMaster is always ready to go, and that's important where I live (Southern Louisiana). Our weather is cloudy most of the year, so I don't have time to mess with mirror alignment when the sky clears. cloud bands) and Saturn (rings visible). This is also good for larger, brighter Messier objects like M31 (Andromeda Galaxy) and M42 (Orion Nebula). I suggest eventually buying an additional Celestron lens kit for it as it

I can't stop being happy with the purchase, a very good deal!

I dreamed of a telescope for a long time and recently bought it . The budget was up to 10 sput. Now you can find many different models, I chose this one because of the price and features. Delivery was made free of charge to the point of issue in Hong Kong, that is, I also saved on it. Specifications match those declared. Collected quickly. There are two eyepieces, they increase from 40 to 90 times and I would not say that with a strong increase the picture blurs. Of course, the quality of the…

Pros
  • Affordable price, good equipment, quality workmanship. I think that this telescope is not for games, but for full-fledged observation of celestial and terrestrial objects
Cons
  • I took it in February, so far no complaints .
