Does anyone know what to do with the second opening?

When I bought this I was under the impression that it could charge my iPad and iPhone. You can not. The plugs on the phone and tablet are different sizes, and maybe I was wrong due to my lack of new technical knowledge. I can't figure out what fits in the smaller hole and the plug is really big just for charging the iPad so you'll have to plug something small into a different outlet when using that.

The charging cable doesn't fit the charger properly and won't charge my device

The cable doesn't fit the charger properly. I have to constantly check that it's fully plugged into the device so it can charge my iPad. I don't know if everyone has this problem or just me. When the cable is halfway plugged in, the charging light on the device will glow green, giving you the impression that your device is charging when in fact it isn't. It got me a couple of times, I saw the green loading light and then moved on to use my iPad and it was still 2%! It's frustrating.

Great charger - why not get one?

I bought this charger for my iPad Pro because I didn't want to pack and unpack the charger that came with my iPad every time I drove to/from campus or the library . I specifically bought this charger because I thought it would be nice to have one charger that could charge my iPhone (with Lightning connector) and iPad (with USB-C connector) rather than one for each device take the block with you. Boy am I glad I did! Now I only carry this charger in my backpack instead of two. It charges my iPad
