Coaxsher RCP 1 Pro Radio Chest Harness Review

The item itself is well thought out, functional and made from good quality materials. However, I think the company's quality control needs some work. When I received this backpack, the velcro for the left holster was not sewn at all, and the elastic for the main walkie-talkie pocket came loose on the first use - the elastic was also poorly sewn. If you order one of these, be prepared to get out your needle and thread and repair them yourself before use.

Bought this walkie-talkie for its functionality and compactness. The package arrived very quickly; However, there were some quality control issues. One of the four silver reflective patches on the front corners was missing. It looked like it had never been flashed - any QC should have noticed that. I have returned the original product and will now be ordering another one in the hope that this time it will be the complete product as portrayed in numerous photos and video reviews online.

I found the strap was not snug against my chest when I put a heavy full size radio in it. The velcro didn't fully wrap around the radio when the handheld mic was attached to it, leaving the strap just dangling. . I've also had to change my radio's zones many times, in addition to changing channels, which requires the radio to be completely removed from the seatbelt in order to manipulate the front panel buttons. Much has been said and most of the praise has been right. Front pockets for radio and accessories are good. Pen holders etc are all good. However, there is something missing in the material. Still playing with it and loving it so far. I have several wireless harnesses, each design has its pros and cons. Love the admin pocket, it's well thought out, you'll always need a place to stash another pen or your IRPG in the field ha. This strap stays in place, don't let the radios off due to the weight hanging / bending over your body. And yes, as with all harnesses, there will be a sweat stain under the harness and nothing else. I've been looking for ARES/RACES Community Service chest strap options for a while and finally settled on the Coaxsher RCP. -1 per. Haven't tried it during the day but got a feel for it on shorter walks in the area and this setup has everything I was looking for. My main HT fits perfectly in each of the radio pockets.
