Description of Collinite 845 Insulator Wax Fluid_Ounces

You can expect up to 5 months of protection and incredible water-beading, even on non-garaged vehicles. Leaves a high gloss, nearly indestructible clear coating that repels water, pollution, sun, salt spray, bugs, and more. In the summer, Insulator Wax stands up to the heat and UV rays better than most carnauba waxes. It has been a favorite at car shows and in body shops for more than 40 years. You can expect up to 5 months of protection and incredible water-beading, even on non-garaged vehicles. You can even use 845 on boats to guard the hull against salt water oxidation.

Good product. Easy. Lightweight Looks great!

When I received my package I was concerned at first because it looked like hard wax. But I read that you just put it in warm water and it becomes liquid again. This is an amazing product with great hydrophobic properties and from all the reviews I have read it lasts around 2 months or 6-8 months in a stationary vehicle/garage vehicle. EASY to apply even at lower temperatures (my car was running at 51F yesterday) and very easy to remove. I let it sit for 15 minutes because it was chilly. I…

Listen! for car polishes and waxes

What can you say that hasn't already been said? The thing just works! I've had the bottle for a few years now and it protects just as well as it did when first opened. Remember that the key to a great finish and long lasting protection with 845 is paint prep. If you don't at least seal your car or bike with a clay rod, you won't be happy. Would you shower without soap? Brush your teeth without toothpaste? Preparation and application are crucial. Also, don't forget to heat the bottle and shake…

THE BEST WAX FOR CARS

Let me start by detailing cars since I was 16 years old. I did this when I was in school to make money. Then deputy sheriff for 12 years and then pastor for the last 27 years. Now retired but I still disassemble cars. I've used so many different waxes and then I saw the Collunite wax in Revain. The proof is in the pudding and I have to say this is by far the best wax I have ever used. To try this out, we recently bought our son a KIA Sorento that wasn't stored in a garage; The color was fading…

Why didn't I try it before? Wonderful. Easy to use and works

I heard this material is good. Well it is! Be sure to warm the product before use by placing the bottle in a bowl of warm/hot water or in the sun until completely liquid and shake well. I used a microfiber applicator block, primed the block and off we went. Apply it as thinly as possible in small amounts and wipe it off with a clean microfiber cloth before it dries, otherwise you will have to do something else. If you apply it and remove it after a few seconds, it's a simple process, just don't

SHINE ON! Collinite 845 delivers!

This is my first Collinite 845 purchase. I normally use Mother's Liquid Carnuba Wax. I love this Collinite 845 wax! I found it very easy to apply and wash off. Even more so than Mother's Liquid Carnuba, which was harder to apply and wash off. The trick to applying 845, as others have mentioned, is to heat the container in warm water. This will make the wax thinner and easier to apply. I use Collinite 845 as a final protective coat after removing surface contamination from the paint with Speedy…

Additional step required

I have been using Wolfgang's No. 30 for a few years. I decided to try this because of all the 5 star reviews but quickly realized it was a huge mistake. I shook the bottle as instructed but when I opened the bottle there were huge globs at the top of the bottle. I shook it again and then poured some on the hood and it just came out in big gobs. In order to have enough room in the bottle to shake it and mix the ingredients, I had to dump half of the bottle onto the bottom. I shook it vigorously…

Excellent protection and shine. Not for Beginners

First, this product has a room temperature consistency. I do not even know. cover up? it's terribly pasty. Don't be alarmed if it's sent this way; it is not defective. I also don't think this comes with a nozzle/cap. So either order one or pull one from a bottle of chemical product that has been sitting on your shelf for 2 years. Before use, put in a cup and hold under hot water for 5 minutes or put in the sun. Then shake it like you've never shaken anything before. Shake it very hard. Once…

It's good as a liquid wax

I will classify this product as a liquid wax by comparing it to other common waxes, sealers etc to get an idea of its properties. Firstly, I received the wax well packaged, no loss of product. I live in the Caribbean so this wax is almost always in liquid form. Liquid application is very easy. I put a drop or two on a microfiber applicator, but I've used it with a sprayer before so it can be used as a spray wax. It applies just as easily as most other sprayable waxes and sealants (H2O Guard &…
