Stay Warm and Trendy with the Columbia Alpine Action Jacket in Vibrant Orange Review

The jacket is quite warm, waterproof, very light and flexible. Those are 3 reasons why I bought it. I live in Georgia which only gets really cold a few weeks of the year and so far I've worn it mostly in 40+ degrees and have been very happy with its performance. I suppose if the temp was in the mid thirties I'd need to wear an extra layer of thermals underneath to keep warm, but I'd rather do that than wear a heavy thick coat. a light coat for 35+ degrees but you might want to opt for something

I've worn it on some very cold days (around 10) and my first day of skiing in years. I love how comfortable and light it is while still staying warmer than I'm used to from such a thin jacket. If it's very cold, you still need a few layers underneath. The zippers are well made and don't stick, with a few good spots. The ski boot bag worked great, but is not noticeable when not in use. It looks good and I love that the cuffs on the wrists have inner sleeves that will keep you warm without fuss…

Warm, much warmer than my old Columbia two-piece jacket (zipped second layer). The silver layer in the jacket looks nice (I don't know if it reflects its heat-reflecting magic or not, but knowing you look like a burrito undercover cop is awesome!
