A lot of bang for your buck

These Thumpr series cams are really good. Okay, they give you a great aggressive exhaust note and idle and still deliver a good level of performance.

great sounding camshaft

I have this cam in a big block 402 1971 with cambered standard pistons and 820 cast heads, 113 ccm chambers. Very Good I have the engine in a 1993 Long Bed C1500 with 4:10 gears and it woke the engine up immediately by running a Proform 650 race carburettor and a 2800 converter and it runs very powerfully. If you want an awkward sounding cam rather than a big caliper motor, the Thumpr cam is the way to go. Works best at 9 to 1 compression or higher.
