Comparison of Isteam and Conair for Irons and Steam Irons

I compared this product to isteam which was cheaper. Here's what I learned: Pros: - Conair produced more vapor which reduced the time it took to steam a shirt - Conair seemed to remove more wrinkles - Conair cord was much longer (see image) - Water in the tank seemed more than too its isteam Cons: -Conair was much heavier. My hand is tired from a shirt. isteam was much easier. - only accepts distilled water (unlike isteam) I decided to return isteam because I liked the conair result better. The

I love this boat!

Wanted to buy a Joy Mangano Steamer - I've had it for almost 20 years and it just broke due to chemical build up in the water. Joy does NOT provide steamboats! I bought several and returned them all until I found this one. This is the goalkeeper. I think it's safe to use, easy to fill, requires very little water and heats up quickly to make vapor. This gives you professional looking clothes as if they just came back from the dry cleaner. Hang your clothes on the shower rail, plug in and steam…

I really like the machine when it's working properly. After several uses, the device spits out water instead of steam. I called Conair support and they said that even distilled water will scale and you should do this monthly. Fill the tank with 1/2 vinegar 1/2 distilled water. Switch on until steam comes out. Then switch off for 1/2 hour. Then let it run until the tank is empty. Then fill in distilled water and run again to get rid of the vinegar smell. I asked why this information is not in…

Powerful steamer for irons and steamers

I had a travel steamer that I inherited and it never impressed me as it never produced enough steam. I bought this Conair steamer partly to work on a car project, but I also needed it at home. I am pleased to report that he has removed the creases from the curtains in our living room after a few passes with the steamer. They have always been difficult to iron because the creases tend to partially come back after ironing. With a steamer, the results are much better, wrinkles are almost…

As if I entered a new level of civilization.

This is the best home appliance I've found in years. I just moved into an old house. I had to throw away all the curtains that had accumulated over twenty years of cooking with dust and grease, buy new ones and put them up. But the new curtains were all crumpled and I had to straighten them out. So I did a little research, spent more and got more. This is a super handheld steamer. I've straightened my curtains and can even iron my favorite cotton t-shirts. It takes longer than ironing them, but

This boat is a winner!

With over 1800W this steamer is a winner! Today I unpacked it for the first time and used it for clothes. Before buying I read a lot of reviews and I liked what I read. A common comment was how small the hole for the water tank is. Is that so. However, my solution is very straightforward. I used a sauce separator to add water to the tank. (I used to use it to fill my iron.) I haven't spilled a drop. Contrary to one review, I found the instructions easy to understand, although they stacked up…
