Lithium ≠ Rechargeable

Call me a chump, but when a product is advertised as "lithium" it's reasonable to assume it's a lithium-ion battery. Of course, it doesn't say "rechargeable" directly, but Emtor's caveat, but "lithium" and "rechargeable" have been pretty much synonymous for the past decade when it comes to personal care products. Instead, what a bonus over the advertised version, which runs on one AA battery and includes an extra (and probably useful) attachment, is that it comes with ONE NON-RECHARGEABLE…

What is this voodoo magic?

I am a hairy person. My hair could fill a brittle Mason Pearson comb and people would think it was an improvement. It also means my hair has been regularly broken with tools supposedly built to withstand the rigors of cutting human hair. I'm so hairy that the only way to take care of a woman was to (a) never take my shirt off in front of her, (b) my irresistible charm, and (c) a gorgeous head of hair when I was seducing you. Since then, the curls on my head have decided to migrate to the inside

Poorly designed on/off switch

The trimmer worked well for about 2 months until the battery cover/switch started to come loose. I liked the ease with which she trimmed the hairs in her nose, ears and eyebrows. However, due to a loose battery cover, the trimmer started running at a little less than full speed after about 2 months, then at about half speed after about a month, and after about 6 months it wouldn't turn on at all. Too bad because it was probably the fastest and most thorough trimmer I've ever owned. while he…

Ambiguous statement. I thought mine was broken.

Just upgraded from one to four stars. I thought I had two broken ones. Revain sent me a second one. Problem. The instructions say to insert the battery positive side down. There is no picture for installing the battery. I removed the cover, looked at the battery slot, turned the positive side down and plugged it in. You didn't mean that when the trimmer is upright, the positive lead is pointing down. Or the positive lead should touch the end of the cap. However, I know that the negative pole…

Stop torturing yourself!

Great product! Like most of you men over 40, I started noticing hair loss where I didn't want it and growing hair where I didn't want it. nose hair. I used wide bladed tweezers hoping that pulling the hair out by the root would help. It was a painful failure. I bought a small metal jig that had to be twisted back and forth to hook the blades. It was OK. Then I found this trimmer and decided to give it a try. It comes with a nose cone and an ear trimmer blade. Battery powered. It is inserted…
