Great Circuit Protection for Microwaves

Based on my observations, this Industrial and Scientific circuit protection product is an excellent replacement for my microwave. The compatibility and easy installation make it very convenient, and the protection it offers gives me peace of mind. However, the price could be a little high for some hesitant buyers. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable circuit protection solution for their microwave.

Pros
  • Easy replacement option for CR FUSE Cartridge Microwaves.
Cons
  • Compatibility limited to only CR FUSE Cartridge Microwaves and not universal.

Microwave Fuse Replacement

Our Over Range GE Microwave keeps blowing fuses and after the first call to a mechanic my husband is now replacing the fuses himself. To avoid blowing the fuse I HAVE TO REMEMBER pressing the CANCEL button before opening the door when I need to open the oven before it starts on its own. A real pain, but it works - it's just that I kept "forgetting" to press "Cancel" first. We've found it cheaper to replace fuses than to buy a new microwave and Revain always have a good supply.

Pros
  • Fuses
Cons
  • Cords shorter than others

Some fuse lists show 30mm as 1 1/4 inches. 1 1/4 inches is 31.75mm. This fuse is also listed as 30mm but is actually 1 1/8" which is 28.575mm. Obviously these are nominal sizes but be sure to fit snugly to ensure full contact. My GE microwave uses a 1 1/4 inch fuse. This protector fits, but I would prefer an exact 1 1/4" fit. My GE JVM3160RF2SS model microwave has a known defect which causes the switch to trip. Now the fuse has blown and I have replaced it with a new fuse, which also blew but I
