My favorite and one of the BEST ranges on the rotary cutting market.

My favorite lines are Creative Grid. Accurate, durable, non-slip and easy to read. Attach small handles to keep them from slipping on the fabric. They usually cost a little more but you get what you pay for. Make no mistake with Creative Grid.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • No form required

Quality and precision and gigantic!

I like the size. He's gigantic. I absolutely love that it has all 1/8" registration marks so you can be very precise when cutting. I buy more Creative Grids because they slip less and the grippy materials aren't as abrasive as the little stickers. quality ruler .

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Sad set

Transparency is good for rulers and ruler stands

I have a lot of Omingrid rulers with thick yellow lines that make me dizzy looking down at them while cutting. Creative Grid rulers are clearer and much easier to measure. If I had to do it all over again, I would only use CGI. Think carefully when you start buying rulers. Whenever possible it is best to use the same set of rulers.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Something's wrong

Great brand, plus size

I have crazy ideas. I don't buy everything as my husband keeps telling me what I'm buying lol. This is a line that is excellent for beginners. I have the traditional 6x24", which is highly recommended. In my humble opinion, this option is better. It's wider. This ruler allows you to square our blocks. And the great thing about it are the handles on the bottom. (btw all rulers slippery), but the grips on this one make it less slippery.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

Great ruler, but it needs numbers going both ways.

This is an amazing ruler but I am so disappointed that it only measures in one direction. I want the 1 inch mark to start at the top (too) right, not just the bottom. I'm right-handed and I want the cutter to be on the right edge of the ruler. So you have to measure from bottom to top. When I'm in a tight space under 24 inches I can't measure by hanging the end off the table as the measurements are below. So uncomfortable! Also this is an amazing ruler, love how it grips the fabric.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Very strong sewing ruler

Very strong large ruler. Ideal for large cuts. I like its non-slip aspect. I like the big black and white round measurement markers. One downside for me is that the horizontal lines are all black and the vertical lines are all white. This is normal for medium colored fabrics. But when I'm using dark fabrics it's very hard for me to see if I'm aligned horizontally, and with light fabrics I'm having a hard time seeing vertical lines. I end up using my yellow over black omni rulers on dark fabrics

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Out of style
