Not for heavy loads!

As a professional mechanic with over 30 years of experience, I tried this outlet but to my disappointment it does not hold up to everyday use. on the. I'm only giving it 2 stars because it's just an extra 22mm head now.

Not for heavy loads!

As a professional mechanic I've tried this head for over 30 years but to my disappointment it didn't hold up to everyday use. The protective cover fell off, goes out after 2 days and no longer lights up. I'm only giving it 2 stars because it's just an extra 22mm head now.

Pros
  • Protective plastic sleeve prevents scratches on wheels and nuts
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Log Guard Nut & Magnetic Wheel Guard

Had to replace all the lug nuts on my SS Camaro because the stock head I used damaged the chrome. not just the jam nuts but the magnetic wheels themselves. I pull too my deadlift to 140 ft-lbs and jack on. I've read complaints about socket cracking when tightening. Tightening all 20 spikes with no problem. I don't know what max torque this head can handle but it can handle at least 140 ft-lbs and I don't know of any torque requirements on average truck or car wheels that go beyond that.

Pros
  • 1/2" Square Drive
