Description of πŸ› Premium Soap Cutting Tool Set: Wooden Loaf Cutter Mold + 2 Pcs Straight Wavy Stainless Steel Cutter Slicer

The set is perfect for soap making, 10 slots for cutting the soap equally into 1 inch each. To protect it from being broken accidentally, the thickness of boards is increased to 0.6 inches, the last slot is lengthened to 1.5 inches, and pins are inserted into each slot. Two stainless steel cutters, straight and wavy, are sharp enough to slice the soap quickly and cleanly. It's not only for soap, but also wonderful for cutting loaf, dessert and pastry, etc. Inside width 4.7 inches and inside height 3.0 inches.

Suitable for clipping but not resizing

Rough cut. The tools just push the bar and the gaps are so wide that it can vary between 1/4-1/2 on a 1 inch strip. In some bars this is 25-50% more product. Makes bad markings. A good tool if you're making sticks for personal use and don't care about uneven thickness, but not for sealed items where consistency is important.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Style 90

Good knife for beginners in soap making

I like full bread slots as a guide but I'm having trouble getting evenly sized slices of bread. You have to constantly correct the bread with a slice. I did not expect this. The cutter is easy to clean and durable. It's a good tool for beginners, but to be honest, soap product marketing will eventually call for single drop wire cutters for easier, more precisely sized bars (IMO).

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Compatibility

Decent quality

I have now cut 4 bars of soap. Firstly, the straight cutter that comes with it is completely useless, the foil covering the blade started to peel off after only cutting a couple of bars. Luckily I already had a good cutter that I used. The wood structure seems pretty solid, although I'm not sure how it will hold up over time. I'm worried about scratching the edges of the cutouts and that this will cause them to fall apart. So far it has helped me get more consistent haircuts and for the price…

Pros
  • Two stainless steel blades, straight and wavy, sharp enough to cut soap quickly and cleanly.
Cons
  • So far so good

Fits 1 " bars

Extremely useful in crafting items of the same size. A wavy cutter makes excellent soap. Because the blade of a straight cutter is thin, it sometimes sticks out when slicing, resulting in corner cuts, so I bought a 16-inch cheese slicer to use with it, which makes straight slicing easier. The bread tends to shift when I cut it, and that may apply to this whole style of cutting; I just have an assistant press on the back of the soap to hold it in place and it works. When you need an economical…

Pros
  • To protect against accidental breakage, the boards have been thickened to .6", the last slot lengthened to 1.5", and pins inserted in each slot.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
