Ideal for panoramic shots. I highly recommend it as it has adjustable increment clicks and makes capturing night panoramas much easier without having to turn on your headlamp to check the angle.

Ordered a Fotga DH-55 and got a Fittest HD-55 instead. It appears to be identical although it does not have the tools as shown in the pictures. The device is well made and runs relatively quietly, and the numbers are actually laser engraved. The base diameter is 55mm, not 50mm as listed (hence the model number HD-55), and the overall height is 53mm as listed. Just got DH-55D index rotator. My first tests are positive. The device looks solid and works as intended. The product photos show two small flat plates, it is not clear if they are wrenches or gauges, but they were not included. The device includes an attached Arca-Swiss head mount plate between the head and the camera; This is not how I would recommend. This head should make an audible click when rotated through selected angles. The item I received does not make any noise even when it is put to your ear. This is an obviously serious error which is why I am returning the product. In addition, the locking cable is so tight that the selector knob can only be screwed in with great difficulty.
