Great Bike - Kids Bikes and Accessories

This is my son's second bike and I think the DB Mini Viper is a great bike. Very well done and I fully assembled and set it up in less than an hour. We've spent quite a bit of time looking at bikes at Walmart, Toys R Us, Target (Razor, Kent, Mongoose, Huffy, etc.) and I really think it's worth the extra money on DB as there's a lot is better built. Quality. Again, I haven't had any assembly issues since growing up with my own bikes, but I agree the assembly instructions and tools provided are…

Great learning bike that lasts a long time

I read many reviews and visited several stores when looking for a new bike for my son. He is 3 years old but he is very tall. About 46" so 14" wheels were too small and 18" wheels were too big so there wasn't much choice in the 16" wheel category. Needless to say, this bike is a winner. Very well made, durable and safe. Definitely not a copy of the film's IP address (like in Cars or Spider-Man). I took the star off because it would be nice if it came with handlebar and center brace pads. We had

design flaw? - Kids bikes and accessories

Overall this bike was easy to assemble and very sturdy but there are a few issues we can't solve that made our 4.5 year old son not really like this bike can . First, the training wheels tend to loosen and shift after a short ride, causing the bike to tilt from side to side, making my son very unsteady. Second, the pedals feel too high off the ground. If we lower the seat so he can reach the floor, his legs will buckle. When we raise the seat to a suitable kicking height, it doesn't even come…

HUGE improvement over smaller brands!

I asked a lot of people about boys bikes before deciding on this one. My boys (ages 4 and 5) rode 12" Huffy and Kawasaki bikes. Both had issues, most notably the lack of torque on the pedals. The older kid was pedaling so hard (mainly because he was pedaling while standing). ) that the chain has broken. EVERY DAY. This one is much better built and the mechanics fit better. The boys both love it (I have a 20 inch order for an older kid who is almost six and HIGH). The training wheels are of good
