Description of Diesel On Men's Fadelight Gen 4: A Stylish Smartwatch with Heart Rate, GPS, Contactless Pay, and Smartphone Notifications

Bold, ironic, and never shy, Diesel doesn't follow trends; it creates them. A Diesel watch is the physical translation of the approach Diesel takes: a clash of different languages and materials but with a strong mechanical touch. Diesel Smartwatches powered with Wear OS by Google work with iPhone and Android Phones. Help on the go from your Google Assistant. Google Fit makes getting healthy easier to achieve. Speed through checkout with your watch using Google Pay. Heart rate & activity tracking, built-in GPS for distance tracking, swimproof design. Receive smartphone notifications and alerts, manage your calendar, control your music, download third party apps, and customize your watch face. For style that works as hard as you do, this 45mm Fadelite touchscreen smartwatch includes a bold white silicone strap and fearless functionality powered with Wear OS by Google technology. Go multiple days on a single charge in Extended Battery Mode. To avoid damage to your watch, only use with included charger. Do not use a USB hub, USB splitter, USB y-cable, battery pack or other peripheral device to charge.

Terribly cheap BIG plastic

This is a cute little watch with a big fake plastic strap that doesn't make much sense. I've been waiting since it was announced at CES and I can't believe how disappointed they are. All the photos look spectacular and I'm a diesel fan but the embarrassingly cheap plastic watch. Go on.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • No performance

Terrible battery life and slow

I doubt it but this watch really has terrible battery life. I can barely get an 8 hour work day with little or no regular use. The strap is short and silicone, difficult to put on and take off, sticks to every hair on my arm. The plastic case is so cheap and fragile. I got mine for €157 and am sending it back.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • I don't remember

Band is too short in Wearable Technology

True, my wrists are a bit wider than the average person's. But I've never been able to put on an adult watch before Fadelite. I'm used to having a slightly tight fit or adding a metal band for comfort, but I can barely bring the two sides of the Fadelite together. I can't even start drawing to the first marker. Seriously, it's like a kid-sized group. And you'd think they wrote something about it somewhere in marketing. But all it says is that the group is "unisex". There should be a length…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Not bad for a Google Watch

I haven't found a smartwatch I really like yet, but it's probably the best of the few I've tried (I've never owned an Apple Watch). What I like most about this watch is that it's not as bulky and obtrusive as others I've used. My biggest complaint, as is usual with smartwatches, is that they have to be charged once a day. When exactly should we do this? Watches, especially smart ones, are probably most useful at night when you wake up and want to know what time it is or what your resting heart…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Minor bugs

The only other smartwatches I've had were the Apple and Samsung; Samsung's latest permutation is currently in use. I'm a security guard like the other reviewer; I have a collection and I wear them, and one of my frustrations with smartwatches is that no matter what "face" you put on them, you can see 99% of them, rooms on the other hand. Well, kudos at this point because that's not exactly the case with this watch. It's definitely different; some will like it, some will not; but I give him…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Doubtful

Great Looking Smartwatch

If you are a diesel fan you will love the look of this watch. Sporty, but somehow unique. Almost every Diesel watch gives me the feeling that it looks unique. Their design is definitely not a design for every day. The watch is very light and the blue variant is a very dark blue that becomes transparent towards the ends of the strap. It is not at all what is shown in the picture. The strap is lighter than my iWatch strap but not as soft to the touch. It still doesn't bother me, but it feels like

Pros
  • With a 45mm touchscreen and stylish design, this fadelite smartwatch features a crisp white silicone strap and fearless functionality powered by Google's Wear OS technology.
Cons
  • Don't remind me

Chunky design, better alternatives

What follows is my test of four WearOS smartwatches. The third is Diesel Fadelight. The value and usefulness of a smartwatch depends on two things: the device and the software. After a few years, I left the Apple ecosystem, so all my latest smartwatches are based on Google's WearOS, an Android-based system. Unlike the closed world of Apple, WearOS is intended to be used by many device manufacturers with different ideas of what these devices should look like. That's an interesting challenge. I…

Pros
  • Diesel Wear OS Smartwatch by Google works with iPhones and Android phones. On-the-go help from your Google Assistant. Google Fit makes a healthy lifestyle easier. Speed up your watch payment with Google Pay.
Cons
  • unreliable

Update: The watch's plastic case broke after just 7 months!

Last update: This will be my last update for this watch because I'm fed up with it. We do NOT recommend the Diesel brand. They have horrible software and the quality of the watch is poor because they are so cheaply made (at least that PLASTIC style of course). My husband only had this watch for 7 months and the cheap plastic case with the smart dial broke. and the dial fell off. This is a very cheap and poor design. The dial is the most important (and most expensive) part of the watch. One…

Pros
  • Heart rate and activity tracking, built-in GPS for distance measurement, waterproof design. Receive notifications and alerts from your smartphone, manage your calendar, control your music, download 3rd party apps and customize your watch face.

  • Expensive
