Eggs didn't hatch

Bought this for my kids. We followed the detailed instructions to set up the tank and waited 2-5 days for the eggs to hatch to no avail. Then we waited another week to be on the safe side. Too bad because it was full of good information and even a big poster that we put on the wall. My kids were very upset that they couldn't see the little prehistoric sea creatures. Maybe we have bad balls.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Fun and cute little set

I used my old discarded fish tank as a new home for my little creatures. They all hatched in a few days, they are really small at first. This set was definitely a lesson in survival of the fittest because after a month only one survived, I think it must have eaten the rest. I would definitely buy again, but although the instructions don't indicate this, I would place each egg in a separate aquarium for safe handling.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Expensive

A good product! Be careful with the picture on the packaging!

This is a good product but be careful if you need tripods. The box shows triops but you get brine shrimp which is a bit of false advertising but they are still very interesting to breed and breed. The instructions are easy to follow and mine have hatched and are doing great! I think brine shrimp are interesting and still fun to watch and if you're ok with brine shrimp, do your research and follow the directions, it's a good set! I'm still intrigued by them and they're clearly thriving! I'm a…

!Don't listen to other reviews! Positive result

Kit received and installed immediately. Instead of distilled water, I used purified water. I also add a 10 gallon heater. Price $19.99 and UV lamp. Price $30.99. After I had everything set up, I also dipped the thermometer in the water. I waited one day and already saw life. Numerous organisms swim around. slowly but surely Triops emerged and grew rapidly. My water temp was around 82F, don't listen to other reviews about them not hatching. They are just misleading and don't understand what they

Nice little quarantine project

Followed instructions and our babies hatched within 24 hours. Lots of little guys! They grow noticeably every day and it's fun to watch them make little loops and run around the aquarium. After about a week they reach a length of almost one centimeter. Only two made it that big in the end (because they survived or maybe ate the rest, their names are MacLeod and Ramirez haha) but my house is chilly so it was difficult to keep the tank temp steady at 80. I ended up wrapping some cardboard in foil

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • So far so good
