To stick this tape to anything, you'll need a stapler.

Other reviewers don't lie - this tape could almost be used as a non-stick coating on a pan. Doesn't stick to anything. That's the most useless excuse for scotch I've ever used in my entire life. I had to use this material to seal my countertops - it didn't stick to the countertops at all, it fell off the wood panel in seconds; it hardly works even on glass. I literally had to use duct tape to caulk this stuff every 10 inches so I could finish my caulking line. I have no idea what I'm going to…

  • All right!

Very sticky, right width

I use this thing all the time. Found it here for a better price than local stores and bought it through Revain. This is generally the brand I like because it has good adhesion and holds up well. Other expensive brands say they "fix" the rim, but I find that misleading and they don't usually hold up that well. It can handle many tasks. This time we used it to specifically hold a 3 mil sheet of plastic hanging from our ceiling and it carried the weight with ease. In fact, after removing it, it…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • There are nuances

When I ran out of 3M tape I just bought all masking tape from Amazon. It's just painter's tape so I thought what's the difference with the brand? This brand of masking tape does not work as advertised. It does not peel off easily within 14 days. I used it on exterior windows for 7 days which resulted in adhesive residue sticking to the window. When peeling off the tape, it does not come off easily and just breaks into pieces. If you accidentally tangle the tape with adhesive sides stuck…

Pros
  • Medium tack tape provides good, quick adhesion and easy removal
Cons
  • Available in white only

When I took off the first few pieces, i wasn't impressed with how sticky they felt. However, after attaching the large strips to the wall, I was surprised at how sticky they were when I tried to take them off. I don't use it to block paint lines, I use it more to prevent drips off the wall from hitting the baseboards. (I use a brush to cut through a line of paint when two different colors meet.) My husband and I painted our 2,000 square feet upstairs (it took 3 years because we also had to…

Pros
  • Ideal for a variety of surfaces including painted walls, crown molding, glass, wood and metal

It really sticks!

Duck Clean Release Masking Tape was an alternative to the Scotch brand which I usually stock in a big box (orange), but with necessity for shelter space, I tried 3 packs of duck masking tape. PROS: It really sticks! A lot of! Well, a lot more than any other brand. The paint doesn't seep under the edges of the tape as much. It's good CONS: It really sticks! A lot of! But it makes it harder to remove and use because if you stick it in the wrong place (e.g. on a door frame) it's a lot harder to…
