Must-have tool for medical students

I'm a perfectionist, so I've spent hours and hours doing my chemistry homework and handcrafting my molecular shape study sheets. This template saved me a lot of time and nerves in my work. This makes a great gift for any college (or high school!) chemistry student. If you are a medical or chemistry student, do yourself a favor and buy this wonderful tool.

Pros
  • Positive result only
Cons
  • Safety

It's not worth it, find a color pattern with wider cutouts

The pattern is good in theory, but it's understandable. This makes it difficult to see clippings on white paper. Some other reviewers also point out that the cutouts aren't wide enough for a pen or marker to fit through. I can confirm that. I wouldn't recommend this template to anyone and would advise others to look for a color template with wide cutouts.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Vulgarity

erh He's doing his thing.

This product helps screen print basic shapes. Other forms of stencils such as Newman projections, wedge and line forms, and carbon base only work with a long, fine-tipped writing instrument (pencil or ballpoint pen), and even then they are not very practical. I use slanted hexagon lines to make carbon skeletons and other proxies for connecting line structures. I would prefer wider stencil openings so I can use whatever writing tool I want.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Zero

Ideal for teaching: Drawing

This template is perfect for my organic chemistry notes. I've posted a photo of a few examples of using this stencil from my notes. Super useful when you need to draw those shaky transformation states. Also useful for exams and labs as the teacher could actually see what I was drawing and everything was very neat. I like that it's crisp so it's easy to line up when you're doing more complex structures like drugs.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

Okay, a bit impractical, but almost all

It has all the shapes you need and will come in handy when you have time. However, if you are like me. This template is not very practical. When your mind is bogged down and your ochem professor is chatting away at 30mph about something you don't understand, the last thing you want to do is carefully sketch things, look for the right shape, etc. for information getting about it produces nothing. My ochem professor didn't give this girl the stencil because there was too much on it but she said…

Pros
  • stencils are the most efficient and accurate drawing tool to easily create a variety of molecular structures.
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

Too small for my pen.

Seems to be a great product but quite fragile because it looks thin. I feel like it would break if I bent it slightly, unlike some of my other harder plastic rulers or templates. Also keep in mind that maybe it was just mine, but I couldn't stick my regular pen tip in the space to really use the item. It seems that just a mechanical pencil with a small lead will suffice. I don't use a pencil and this has become an issue for me personally and I would also like to be able to use it on an iPad…

Pros
  • Another great feature of the template is that it improves the quality of your molecular drawings, which helps you better understand the material you are studying.
Cons
  • thin

A great tool that every O-Chem student should have! The

I bought this to use in my class because I wasn't that good at drawing all the shapes and when I drew them myself they were always different sizes and never saw straight away, and they made my already confusing notes even more confusing. I liked that this product allowed me to easily draw the basic shapes I need for my notes or homework, and they were all the same size and shape, making the overall product look neater and more organized. What I didn't like about this product is that the lines…
