Didn't work for me

Having already cut the keys for my 2009 Mazda 6 I found the key fob did NOT fit my car, the technician tried unsuccessfully. Didn't do any programming. I was very disappointed

Works on 2011 Mazda 3

Works on 2011 Mazda 3. The only thing that bothers me is that for some reason the trunk and panic switch but the trunk release never worked on the old key fob (it had a new car feeling), so hey, I agree. Obviously it's not Mazda branding so there's no Mazda logo on the back but to say it's a lot cheaper and the car has 200,000 miles and I can live with that.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Functionality

Better than the dealer version, but there were problems

The dealer wanted $250 for a key and said I needed two so I bought this one instead. The key and locks worked but the locksmith had to replace the starting chips at $25 per chip. The whole thing cost me $300 to get two new 2011 Mazda 3 keychains compared to $700 plus towing for a Mazda dealer, so it was a hassle but worth the savings.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Very expensive

Cheap and thin. Will be returned

Don't waste your money on this item. NO INSTRUCTIONS ON WHERE TO MAKE THE CHIP, and horribly poor quality. The key broke off when I tried to open the door with it. This is very cheap quality. Don't waste your time and money on this product like I did. I paid to have him cut and he didn't come to the door. spent my money Terrible. Will return.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Only available in white

Works with programming, but.

Zero instructions and the "chip" is installed with no direction as to where it goes. My locksmith had to find out. There's no reason to keep it in a separate bag. The quality is good, the buttons work once you figure out where the chip goes. Update 8/18 the key is no longer recognized by the car and does not start. I reprogrammed with two working keys, it worked last night but not this morning and now I will not program. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want your wife stranded with a broken…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Clearly bad product

Great deal on some spare keys

5 stars even though my book had some minor issues. I only have one of the originals and I can't reprogram myself. I took them to my local locksmith and they charged me $65 each to cut and program the keys. $130 total. Both work great and look just like the original keys. Now for the minor issues. First, there is no Mazda logo on the buttons. I was hoping they would come with me. It's not that big of a problem since I can find some of them. The second issue is that the trunk and panic buttons…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Exchange availability
