Perfect match for your brown home

Some homes have too much white. That's great. Tight fit. I infinitely easier to install during installation. I learned it the hard way. Nothing a razor can help. Not really, but it's for aesthetics. As long as you cut from above, no problem. Still very comfortable.

works as advertised.

I really like this product as it definitely protects the camera body from the elements. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the entire mic is so small that it was difficult to center it on the camera mic. I end up using a small set of knives to make it bigger. But other than that I highly recommend it.

I want to buy a ring system.

This product does not match the Ring product. It doesn't work with most Wi-Fi systems like the Ring system. I know this because I am a licensed electrician who has installed several Ring systems over the years. I still don't know why I bought this thing instead of the ring. I want to return it, but it is outside the return date. Customer service is non-existent unlike Ring which offers great customer service.

The color is caramel brown rather than dark chocolate

The product is not dark brown - more caramel colored than dark chocolate. The color is not accurately represented on the product page. Installing the cover was easy - took 5 minutes including removing the ladder, extending it, using an allen wrench to remove the camera, going down the ladder, attaching the cover, climbing the ladder and reinstalling the camera furnished with the cover. It then took me 10 minutes to look at the color of the coating from the ground up and figure out which was…

Beautiful silicone case for the NEST OUTDOOR IQ camera. This is the one you want.

I have brown blankets for the camera mounts and the white cameras really stand out. They fit pretty well and you have to make sure the mic and speaker holes line up, but once in place the camera is a lot harder to see in my case. Others note that they make the camera warmer, and that can be an issue in the summer, but it's still chilly outside. They cover the white bezel on the front but NOT the status light ring so they're perfect. You may need to cut off some silicone once you have the camera
