Buy 2! lol for light controls and modifiers

This awesome thing I bought this to hold my reflectors and didn't even know it had an umbrella hole! Very slim and well built, all metal, couldn't be happier!

Works well with reflectors

I purchased this product because the part that came with the Fivotec green screen stand didn't open wide enough. The clamp is difficult to open but I think it will loosen over time.

Saved me from buying a tripod

I've used this clip on some Speedotron light tripods to hold my Logitech c990z webcam for time lapse :) I didn't want to buy a new tripod just to keep this webcam use, This saved money and works great :)

Pros
  • Lighting and Studio
Cons
  • Weak set

They call them superpowers.

JOKE I BOUGHT CLAMPS TO HOLD THE REFLECTOR AND SHOOT AT THE SAME TIME. BUT THE FIRST TIME THE CLAMP WAS NOT HOLDED BY THE LIGHTWEIGHT 32" PORTABLE TRIANGULAR REFLECTOR WITH NO SOLUTION. I DON'T HAVE ANY TAPE TO ATTACH THE REFLECTOR TO THE CLAMP. ONLY THE WAIST OF MY TIME AND I WAS AT THE DOOR. I WILL GET FROM THEM BUT FOR HEAVY PERFORMANCE FORGET 6/2/2021

Pros
  • Camera and photo
Cons
  • Off fashion

Rubber Pads Missing

Rubber Pads are just small sleeves that fit over thin metal clips. They keep slipping under the weight of the items I'm holding as they are not attached to the clamp in any way. I finally gave up and just took them off and the remaining clip without them is very flimsy and doesn't withstand much friction. This will probably work fine if you're not using it in the down direction. But I want it to support a collapsible blue screen and gravity is too much for that.

  • Lighting Controls and Modifiers
Cons
  • Style 90

Bought used, broken

Didn't think to try this clamp before the return deadline. When I had to use this clamp on a shoot, I found that the screw that attaches the clamp to the C-pillar bracket was not tight on the bracket. The screw just comes out. I'm embarrassed that I didn't check my stuff sooner and maybe I wouldn't have gotten a broken one if I bought it brand new instead of used.

Pros
  • Very impressive

The rubber pads fall off

The rubber pads on this model are just small bushings that fit over thin metal clips on the clip. They keep slipping under the weight of the items I'm holding as they are not attached to the clamp in any way. I finally gave up and just took them off and the remaining clip without them is very flimsy and doesn't withstand much friction.
