I plugged it in to control my heating while I was away. It worked for about a week until one day it stopped responding to Alexa. Unfortunately, it stopped responding when the heating was turned off in winter. In any case, if people didn't examine my cat every day, I would be seriously horrified.

This device works reasonably well - it dims fairly smoothly and is quick to respond (although its signal strength is lower than most of my Zigbee devices). not specifically advertised as co-management - you can't turn on/off just one of the sockets or dim just one of them. The Zigbee coordinator has access to only one output and controls both outputs at the same time.

Everything was working fine until this morning. Now this device will not respond to Alexa through Hubitat or directly through the Hubitat dashboard. After direct control of the backlight via button, the device reacted again and again did not react. I haven't tried resetting to factory settings yet, but I will. However, I shouldn't do that; All my other Z-Wave, Zigbee and "Works with Alexa" devices work fine.

One of my biggest issues with dimmers is that they only dim to 5%. For example, I like going to 1%, and I do! In fact, it becomes so faint that only a very faint glow remains. (Note: I'm using an LED lightbulb.) It was actually quite difficult to connect to my Alexa, but I managed to do it after a few tries, so be prepared to struggle with it a bit. (but still happy with the matte quality) I had it for about 3 weeks and it didn't turn off either. Some other products seem to turn off randomly…

All in all I bought a couple of these devices to extend my Zigbee network and they do the job. I think it's a pity that only one output (below) can be controlled. Also, there is no power control on this device. Depending on how your house was wired, adding a neutral could make the box a little cramped if your old outlets didn't use it. Jasco makes reliable products and this is no exception. Installation was easy and I was up and running in 5 minutes. Please note that the smart plug is disabled by default, so you need to enable it through the HA hub after pairing. Also, it has a nice dim blue LED indicator so you can easily see the status.
