I bought some Halloween lights and hung them on the bushes on either side the front door. Then I planned to connect the strands with an extension cord. Neither cable worked because the male and female parts are parallel and the pins are the same size - not normal for the US. It took me forever to find this cable, which is also not normal for the US. Thank you for not being normal for USA. Halloween is getting bright!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competition is here

Emptor Warning: If you are purchasing this for use in the United States, the plug is non-polarized. Neutral and hot are the same size. In the US, electrical codes require a neutral outlet to have a higher pin. Old Japanese plugs were not polarized. Many devices sold for the North American and Japanese markets may be compatible with this cable. Many AC/DC power adapters (wall warts) will mate with this cable as they are designed to conveniently plug in either way. But most devices sold in the US

Pros
  • Change Price

Believe it or not, this product is hard to find. Extension cords from a standard outlet are almost always polarized, so you can plug in a non-polarized one. But when you run the line, say; non-polarized Christmas lights, then the last plug is a non-polarized jack. This only accepts the non-polarized pin end. Since I also wanted to use our lighted railing to feed the foyer's pencil tree, this was the only solution I could find other than building my own extension. Walmart, Target, Lowes, Home…

Pros
  • Beautiful construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
