less than useless. You must cut your braces yourself.

The thickness of the metal is too thin and the angles are completely different The bill of materials was incorrect and required additional trips to the lumberyard. In short, less than useless. You'll have to cut the frame brackets yourself to raise the barn at all. I've built 8 sheds so far and these frames should speed things up. It is not.

After assembly I had to build 8x8 instead of 8x7 as the "instructions " said

Bought this chicken coop kit. Is working. I wish the instructions were less vague. Thank god for YouTube.com. I still have to build the door. I should have just bought a pre-made kit from Home Depot. After assembly I had to build 8x8 instead of 8x7 as the "Instructions" said. It's strong and easy to cut without cutting at an angle, which was my goal.

Find free plans and create the right frame

Bought because they advertise it saves time which it really wasn't. A little cheaper in material, but not by much. It requires 2-3 people to assemble, the ridge beams are tricky to put in place and when you bolt them to the ground (not included so I built my own from pressure treated 2x8s) the brackets flex so the posts flex be able to stand upright. Also, they say that installing studs on the end walls only allows for 1.5" wall thickness, so I had to double the 2x4 so I could insulate. I will…

Very happy with kit

Very happy The description says it comes in the kit and everything is fine. There are 24 brackets of one type and 12 of another. And for this price you can't do much better. I agree with other reviews, the instructions could be better. That being said I use mine a bit differently so the instructions are meaningless for my case, I had to make my own plans and bill of materials. Brackets are excellent, instructions are weak, do not cut boards until needed

Uses the basic kit for a 7x8 barn. I bought the materials on Saturday morning and the unpainted barn was ready on Saturday evening when the four of us worked about 8 hours. Two of us caulked the joints and painted the next day on Sunday. They *will* cut corners on the boards and they include a metal guide to mark the cuts - so DO NOT think "no cutting required" as corner cuts are required.
