Overall a good scanner.

works very well, a clean counter shows only a few thousand scans. Works slowly with VRS and Kofax. No 50 ppm, maximum 20-30. I am using 16g memory on I7, Win8, I will change graphics card soon and see if there are any. Overall a good scanner. I love it and it's good for small businesses. Used in accounting.

A scanner capable of transmitting documents for our electronic preservation is required. We have used Fujitsu scanners in the past and have been happy with their performance. That fits the bill.

Pros
  • Scanners and accessories
Cons
  • No color required

Used in accounting.

We needed a scanner that could transmit documents for our electronic storage. We have used Fujitsu scanners in the past and have been pleased with their performance. That fits the bill.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliability

Slow, freezing and useless software

Scanner was tested on $300 model, scanning speed is about the same. For 50 pages we measured 1 minute 36 seconds for duplex scanning at 200 dpi. The paper jams several times and you cannot stop and scan again. You get Adobe Acrobat and some other "professional" programs that aren't very useful. Any business willing to pay over $2,000 for a scanner only needs one thing to get it right: the scanner can scan quickly and read documents accurately. The design of the paper path and rollers is yet to…
