THE BEST way to filter algae in your pool Intex

Our pool has turned green and I've tried just about everything. Lots of shock, chlorine and algaecide. It helped, but still not 100%. I then found a YouTube video showing this 1 micron filter and set it up similar to my fellow buyer Mary Caron. I connected the filter return with some zip ties and let it filter for about 2 days and my pool was almost crystal clear. I'm so glad I found this solution. Thank you!

Pros
  • Made of felt material for high dirt holding capacity
Cons
  • Very expensive

Saved me the trouble of emptying my pool

I have an 18ft Intex pool that was badly damaged by algae late last season. I thought I had to empty it. Then I found these mentions in a YouTube video and decided to give it a try. Man, these guys are real. The amount of dirt it catches and filters through is phenomenal. They can be used by simply throwing them in the wash. I think I will continue to use these throughout the season as they work better than paper filters and are reusable. And inexpensive. Thank you for making them. If you have…

Pros
  • Withstands high temperatures
Cons
  • No automatic controls

Use it to filter algae in pool water!

I have a metal frame paddling pool. I was delayed in treatment and suddenly the algae appeared and I couldn't control them. I decided to do this experiment. I took a wooden paddle and created a hot tub. That's about 4500 liters. I added 4x the amount of shock they were supposed to add each week. I cut off the top part of the filter and attached it to the drain pipe with a hose. I attached it to the pool ladder and covered the pool with sunscreen. I went for 3 days and came back to really clean…

Pros
  • Ultrafiltration 1 micron
Cons
  • Some errors
