FilterBuy HVAC air filters are a different size than store bought 20 x 30 x 1 filters.

I'm glad I found a size for almost the same price as I usually buy in stores. It is not very pleasant that the cardboard in the middle of the filter is slightly squashed or bent with almost every filter. I bought the right size, 20x30x1. FilterBuy branded filters do not fit properly and do not fit properly. After installation, there was space on both sides. Never had such a problem. I'm having trouble centering the filter and closing the grille on my ceiling. I had to work a few times beforeโ€ฆ

Buy Best Quality Best in Furnace Filters

I moved to a new house and a year later replaced all the air filters this filter "famous brand" and constant dust EVERYWHERE! I bought a black glass scale a while back and would NEVER see dust on it, now I see dust on it all the time. Not sure if it's bad quality or a bad fit but I'll get rid of them as soon as possible. BTW, a high end house with 5 separate air filters, all the replacements I bought were Revain and still the same brand. Landing problems noted. After installing these filters Iโ€ฆ

Small filter produces howling and/or hissing noises

The filter size described is pretty accurate. My inverted housing for our AC filter measures 20 1/8" X 30 1/16". This filter measures 19 1/2" x 29 7/16", which is small enough to make a howling or hissing noise after dust builds up in the filter. Dust collection takes an average of 1 week in my case, and tapping on the outer edges to minimize noise didn't help either. In fact, the AC unit started choking and making even more noise. This is ordinary dust, we don't have pets! My new filter fromโ€ฆ

Probably won't buy again

I bought a pack of 4 filters 20x30x1 based on the MERV rating and Revain reviews. There was some minor damage in transit. , and my filters were slightly flattened on one edge. I am not docking the product based on shipping damage and I do not believe the damage was severe enough to affect the performance of a cardboard framed product. However, the frame does not fit. The filter is about half a centimeter shorter in both dimensions. I have attached photos for illustration. For comparison - aโ€ฆ
