Satisfied x2 in rulers and ruler stands

It's only a millimeter thinner than I prefer but a great product. This is the second purchase of this brand. The corners will chip when using sharp rotary blades, so always cut a length past the top of the corner to avoid chipping.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Some issues

Fiskars Square Acrylic Ruler Set (2)

These rulers are very profitable. I would recommend that you use clear contact paper or a clear ruler as, as other reviewers have pointed out, the measurement lines and numbers look like they will rub off with repeated use.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Almost Never

Disappointing, don't waste your money.

Measuring grid is a stick on the grid, not lasered into the plastic. The sticker lines are quite thick with many small sizes. This makes it difficult to see that you are properly aligned for cutting. I won't use this square, I'll stick with other rulers.

Pros
  • Change price

USEFUL when you need precision!

Completely useless for cutting fabrics for ceilings. The white color, designed to make it easier to read the marks on dark fabrics, is so broad that you cannot see the marks clearly to get an accurate cut. It just annoys me that it's too late to send the damn things back!

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • There are problems

Superb quality for years to come

Love these! I bought from JoAnn a few years ago which I have used on many projects and they have held up great. They are identical. I like that there are two sizes, they are high quality and last a long time. One note: on the rulers I've had and used for years (same type and brand as these) the grid lines around the edges have worn down a bit over time.

Pros
  • Made from durable 3mm clear acrylic
Cons
  • No performance

Ideal for cutting squares for quilting

I originally bought this ruler because I needed a 12 1/2 square ruler to cut squares for patchwork quilts. Now I use it often to cut my own squares to make all sorts of square projects. And considering it comes with a 6 1/2 square, the price is amazing. My local craft/fabric store sells a 12 1/2 for almost $20. You will make a 12" or 6" square with a 1/4" seam allowance on each side.

Pros
  • Line offset 45 degrees down center, clearly sized to aid in cutting blocks
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Fiskars fails - it's my first time.

I loved this set when it arrived in January. When I tried to use it tonight I found that the measurement lines were slowly disappearing - both black and white lines. I I'm sooo sad. This is the first Fiskars product that has let me down. As I have and use multiple rulers, this gets used a few times a week at most.. I've never seen lines disappear before. I couldn't make contact to Revain or the retailer so I've decided to give a sad and negative review I have rulers that I've been using…

Pros
  • Highlighted 1/2" seam allowance
Cons
  • Disappearing
