A step ahead of other wax rings

Works as advertised. The extra thick wax ensures good adhesion to the toilet and floor - excess wax simply spreads out to the sides (no scrubbing required as it's hidden under the toilet). The rubber flange acts as a funnel to keep water and waste down the drain and helps center the wax ring.

There was no wax in this filling

These fillings are made of wax. There is a thin plastic mold that the wax is poured into. This seal was not complete. It was about 70% full. I have the same sealant and it's filled to the brim. The lack of a full wax seal can lead to leaks. There was a delay in construction due to the seller, so I was unable to use this seal and did not open the box to check. I can't return it to Revine now.

It Just Works: Toilet Wax Rings

I asked Lowes to install an American Standard Champion 4 toilet. He used the wax ring that came with it. It was leaking even though my flange is perfectly flush with the floor. He went with the leak and insisted there was no leak. Received a refund from Lowes for the work. I pulled out the toilet and found that the lined ring didn't even touch the bottom of the toilet. So I installed the Fluid Master Waxless Pad. It leaked more slowly but failed to make a watertight seal with the bottom of the…

Any inexperienced home master will cope with the installation.

This is the best wax ring I have ever bought. But I've bought a lot of "best wax rings". Very thick is always the way to go as there is never too much wax. No problems installing. Press it against the bottom of the toilet and then lower the toilet directly onto the studs. OR install the ring on the flange and then slide the toilet over the screws and wax ring. Any method is sufficient. If you've never done this before, any inexperienced home master can handle it. The Revain price was good and…

Works well: Toilet Wax Rings

High enough for sub-floor mounted flange for 1/4" tile + tile backing. To install I scraped the old wax ring off the pipe flange and scraped any large chunks off the underside of the toilet .I rolled it into a ball of pure internal wax and put it on top of this ring as a precaution (sort of simulating "stacked" rings. I didn't go as far as heating the ring, but it shouldn't be colder than room temperature .Make sure the studs are on the flange and lower the toilet right down the middle. You will

Good quality, good price

Ideal for both the master and the master. I had occasional toilet breaks in the front bathroom and had to dive about once a week. I ran a 6ft snake and it didn't fix the problem. So I figured there was something in the black pipe and I'd have to spend over $100 on rent or plumbing. However, I decided to at least pull out the toilet and have a look as a last resort. I found that Delta Sierra, who installed the toilet, installed TWO wax rings! One of them clogged the drain pipe about 33%. Many…

Great item for any toilet. Buy two

Great product and cheap. Ease of installation. It's extra wax, so you have to press hard on the toilet. I actually sat on my toilet as soon as I got it in place to crush it. Extra wax means extra sealing. There must not be too much wax. One tip - and this goes for any wax seal, not just this one - buy two or three of these wax seals. for 2 reasons: Reason number 1 – You need to deal with the wax seal for the first time. If you misalign the toilet and have to lift it to reposition it, you've…

Transparency? Should I rate its purity?

This is a FULL wax ring. It's tacky as it should be and pretty much the standard thickness normally found in a product like this, the serviceable quality you'd expect from a small product that doesn't require a lot of technical knowledge to make from inexpensive materials and to be manufactured in good quality. well-known and established company in the sanitary sector. It does the job for which it is intended. I can't say I can imagine what the wax ring needed to do to perform excellently other
