    Nice price, good quality.

You need to be very clear about why you are buying this lens. It makes sense only in three cases - as the very first lens to understand what photography is; if size and weight are important; if you mainly want to shoot video, not photos. In all other cases, you should not buy this lens. However, Fuji recommends it specifically for video and developed it specifically for this. In principle, this should be an excellent travel zoom, but only if you are willing to compromise in terms of quality and

    Pros
    • The main advantage is the size and weight, which is rare nowadays. Based on this dignity, you need to evaluate the lens. If it is the size that is important, then you will have to give up detailing and drawing. But the size is not all the advantages of the lens. This lens is very quiet, almost silent. Fast focusing (adjusted for the fact that fuji is not its strongest point) The lens is very well suited for shooting video, both due to quiet focus and zoom, and because the zoom is not mechanical here and it is very easy to get smooth zooming. Another advantage is manifested on X-Pro cameras - the lens does not block the optical viewfinder even in the long focus position. The advantages include the price, a good and convenient range of focal lengths for all occasions.
    Cons
    • The disadvantages of the lens are a consequence of its merits. First of all, low aperture and completely uninteresting and not beautiful drawing. Very poor detail and completely unimpressive colors. Since the zoom is electric, when turned on, it takes 1-2 seconds for the tube to leave the lens. It is not convenient to control the electric zoom when photographing - the zoom ring has too little travel. The tactile lens is also not pleasant - the feeling of cheap plastic in the hands, the backlash of the focus and zoom rings. The stabilizer is now outdated and poorly effective. The presence of a stabilizer and electric zoom, as well as the extension of the tube when turned on, leads to a very rapid discharge of the battery, which is not the strongest side of fuji cameras anyway.

Perhaps this is the best whale on the crop. He's great for his money. Be sure to take. In some ways, it is better than the old Fujik fixes, for example, the monstrous 18mm F2. Yes, there is also a whale 2.8, but it is expensive. With its pros: 1. Very sharp 2. Lightweight 3. Good color 4. Wide angle 15 is better than 18 Cons below: 1. Well, it looks like a cheap Chinese rattle 2. The trunk leaves, well, everyone seems to have the same

Not a bad buy, well worth the money.

In general, I am satisfied, initially I expected that it would be worse. Compared to Canon kits, the quality is one level better. Has some pros: Compact, convenient range of focal lengths, the picture is good for a kit lens, low image distortion at wide angles. Has cons: Aperture at 45 mm is very lacking, for lovers of "bokeh" and a blurry background there will be a lot of disappointment, backlash.

I have been dealing with entry-level whale lenses and different brands for a long time, there were whales from Nikon, Sony and Kenon, this lens, in my opinion and experience, does all the whales of these brands, in most cases there are simple plugs for the mount, and this glass already shows good entry level results. Now it’s on the Fujifilm X-T30 and I can’t get enough of the picture, it’s hard to take my eyes off, you can look at the photo yourself. All photos were taken in raw and minimally…

    Pros
    • Very sharp for an entry-level kit lens. It copes well with distortion and chromatic aberration. The sharpness is excellent throughout the entire field of the frame, it decreases slightly at the edges, but this is practically not noticeable. Small and light. Excellent color reproduction. On the secondary you can get cheap.
    Cons
    • Plastic mount, and the whole construction is plastic, but everything is assembled soundly. There is no complete set, no lens hood, and there is no the simplest rag cover. The price, of course, is a bit high if you take one lens, without a carcass, but used ones are pretty cheap.

Fits the description completely, very satisfying.

Amazing whale. Never seen anything like it. Distortions are absent as a class. The camera removes them programmatically. Very light and compact, fast and with fantastic detail for its price. Not fast aperture and for this reason does not blur the background, but when shooting at slightly closed apertures, it surpasses top full-frame lenses in sharpness, such as the first generation of zooms 24-70 2.8 Nikkor and Canon, subjective impression. In terms of speed, it is not much inferior to them…

    Pros
    • Ringing sharpness and detail across the entire zoom range Decent focus speed Excellent wide angle No distortion Fantastically compact and lightweight
    Cons
    • Lack of dust and moisture protection, but there are no problems with this yet. Zooming only with the buzz of the motor, it interferes with the video. Not always accurate AF as a result of apertures 3.5-5.6, otherwise it cannot be with a "dark" zoom.

Great value for money, one of the best offers.

I wouldn’t buy it separately, but I got it as a whale lens for the XA-5, and here this lens fulfills its cost by 100% and even more. Great as a versatile lens for travel.

    Pros
    • Versatile focal lengths covering most tasks. Wide angle (EGF 23 mm). Lightweight and compact. The stabilizer works effectively. Good optical characteristics for a whale.

I like the product, the quality did not disappoint.

I bought it together with x-t20 at a good price as a set. This is my first fuji camera and so far the first lens, so I will compare it with canon 18-55 is stm and canon fixes. Maybe I got an excellent copy, but the picture is much, much (!) Sharper than the Canon whale. Moreover, the picture is comparable in sharpness to my old canon fixes. I did not expect this from this lens, I bought it in the format "small, light - I will take it on vacation" and planned to buy a couple of fixes after. But…

    Pros
    • 1) The first and most important thing is sharpness. I got a really great copy from this point of view. 2) Fast focus. Manages to shift focus in high-speed burst mode to a skater riding in the face (for example). In more difficult conditions did not test. Of course, this is a merit, including the camera, but lenses are also slow. 3) Focusing is quiet (but not silent). 4) Weight and dimensions.
    Cons
    • 1) Fully automatic. Zooming occurs only due to the internal motor. Twisted - vzhzhzhzhzh - approached. 2) Working position exclusively with extended trunk. Turn on the camera - the trunk automatically moves out of the camera by 2 centimeters. 3) All this "automatic" slows down the x-t20 when turned on for 2-3 seconds. With other lenses, the camera turns on very quickly. In short - the principle of operation of the 1in1 lens is like on soap dishes. And it's very inconvenient. 4) Looks flimsy (trunk inside backlash a little) 5) 45mm at the far end - I don't have enough. 6) The bokeh is average, but it's still a whale.

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

A great addition to the budget x-t100 camera bundle and XC 15-45 and XC 50-230 lenses. If the first at a focal length of more than 30mm soaps, then the second at 50mm is narrow. The XC 35mm perfectly complements this bunch of lenses, while it is quite fast, sharp, compact! The whole set fits into a small waist bag. Increasingly, I began to use it as a standard lens !

    Pros
    • Image quality, price, weight, dimensions
    Cons
    • Equipment. I am silent about the lens hood, but they could put a normal protective cap on the back.

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

In general, everything is not bad, but I expected more.

As a whale option for logging in, it is quite suitable. Perhaps, for entry-level cameras, it will be the optimal universal glass . I won’t recommend buying separately, it’s better to save up and take a fix or a much-praised and relatively bright zoom of 18-55. Has pros: I took it from the XT-30 as a whale glass - quite good glass. The potential of the camera will not reveal, after replacing it with any fix, you will be pleasantly surprised. Externally and constructively so-so. Cons: I never…

There are several shortcomings, in principle, it corresponds to the norm.

It has 2 rotating wheels - one can only be turned a little, and while it is out of its main position - the lens changes zoom, it works fine. And the second (also electric) - rotates as usual. And I have to say, it's downright frustrating to use - the feel of rubbing plastic is disgusting. Moreover, the lens reacts to it with a small delay. I took it in a whale kit, everything seems to be ok with the camera, and the lens began to malfunction after 3 days - when zooming, it signals an error and…

    Pros
    • Really light and reasonably sharp lens.
    Cons
    • Fully electric, which I personally found extremely inconvenient.

    Handy lightweight travel zoom

Fantastic lens. Juicy, beautiful colors. So small and light. Uncomplicated, so no annoying wide-angle distortion at 15 mm when aligned horizontally. Ideal for traveling when you don't want to carry around a large wide-angle lens. I carry a Fuji XF55-200 lens on my XT-2 body for bird photography. With this XC-15-45 on my XE-2s I can shoot landscapes and people without changing lenses in the field. The only downside is the powerful zoom, which makes it difficult to get close to a specific…

    Not for architecture and landscapes

I was looking for a compact, mid-range lens that I could take anywhere. I mainly photograph architecture and landscapes. In addition, the lens blurs the edges noticeably - leaves, for example, look "crushed". I didn't have high hopes for absolute sharpness, but was surprised by the switch from the center to the edges. If you (like me) are considering the Fuji X-mount system for the first time, after trying a few lenses and reading a lot of reviews, I think it can be said that the Fuji is best…

Great Sleeper Lens - Camera Lenses

Bought this lens after reading many reviews and videos. I originally had an overpriced 18-55 2.8 that took soft photos and a crappy 16-50 3.5 that came with the camera. I have other higher quality Fuji lenses that I use with my XT3 and X-T20, but I just need a sharp, lightweight, inexpensive general purpose lens for general photography. 15-45 filled that need. At the broad end, this is a very sharp lens. It softens a bit but stays sharp enough for my needs. The only problem with this lens is…

    As others have said

As others have said this is an exceptionally light and very good lens for Fuji series cameras. For me, that's a nice compliment to my XT20 when I want to travel ultra light and keep it in my bag all the time. The color reproduction is good, the sharpness is very good for such a lens. The only obvious issue I see is barrel distortion at ultra wide angles, which annoys me a bit. And the construction doesn't feel that strong, but very, very light. Trade-off: light, cheap and fairly good quality…

    Nice little lens

I wanted a small, unobtrusive zoom to match the recently purchased Fujifilm X-E3 and the reviews for the small 15-45mm lens have been mostly positive . In terms of build quality, this is a kit lens, but it's still well made. Visually, it's capable of really good results. It doesn't have an aperture ring, so you have to set the aperture with the camera's front dial, which isn't that hard once you get the hang of it. The power zoom feature is actually nice once you get used to it, but I have no…

Excellent performance and value for money

Fujinon optics in a plastic body, bought this lens as I needed an alternative for use at a long focal length, didn't want to go to a more expensive one invest Fujinon wide-angle lens without first checking the focal length. I'm amazed at the performance of this little lens, it's very sharp, the colors and contrast are amazing, some reviews say it's soft on the 45mm lens but in my example it doesn't seem to be, Sharpness and contrast held up very well. I compared this lens to my XF 35mm f2 and…

Fujinon XC15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ Lens - Black I have this lens in addition to a pair of light primes (18mm ) 2.0 and 23mm F2.0) that I use when shooting with the Fuji X-E3. I did some preliminary comparisons with the much larger XF 16-55mm professional lens (which I currently use with the X-H1) and shot at F5.6 in good light. While this is an unfair and unscientific comparison, this smaller lens performed reasonably well. (Can you tell which was taken with which lens and body in the examples…
