Leaking after 5000 km

Leaking after 5000 km. I got a new one for free but wasn't satisfied with the product. The trip is no better than Napa. Surprised it's not good as it's Gabriel's best shock. Was on Ford E350 03

Pros
  • Shock absorber
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Total headache best at Power Transmission Products

You sent the wrong hardware. They were difficult to fit in my e250 van, the trunk is too big. Very difficult installation as it is a pre-assembled kit. Shock absorbers, of course, are better than the old ones, but nothing wonderful. Try a different brand.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • High price

Both dampers failed in less than 5 years

Purchased 12/2015 (not from Revain), I kept feeling the rear of my Ford E350 'fly in the air' on big bumps, dropping goods off the shelves. In 2021 I finally removed the shocks to test them. Both have a free-play deadzone in the last 3 inches of travel, resulting in a sudden upward bounce. Discarded, bought Bilstein 33-176840.

Pros
  • Power Transmission Products
Cons
  • Can't remember
