Convenient for quilting with home machine

Large size, easy to use! I was afraid that such a small ruler wouldn't be practical, but on my home machine it's perfect. The size makes it easy to manage and can be quickly reconfigured to continue the quilting line.

  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons

Versatility and Affordability

I'm just starting out and didn't want to buy a lot of line to try so when I saw this versatile line I had to have it and I have no regrets. The thickness is great and while I'm still learning this is a great ruler for trying out different designs.

Pros
  • Fits Many
Cons

A great addition to my line collection.

I'm just starting to quilt with rulers and this makes a lovely addition to my collection. The size is perfect for my hand and easy to maneuver. I still haven't tried everything this line is capable of and I can't wait to learn.

Pros
  • Good item
Cons
  • So-so

I use the heck of this thing.

I have a foot length straight edge quilting ruler that I love; but now I use this ruler much more often. Having a straight edge and a curved edge on the same ruler is much more convenient than having to switch between several different rulers. The high quality etched markings are really nice. I used to buy rulers with erasable markers and this really annoyed me.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • No capacity

You can do a thousand things with it. Love it.

This is a COMFORTABLE ruler. Very versatile and useful - I couldn't believe how much you can do with it. Google Versa Tool and Penny Olive for a series of Youtube videos on how to use this line. I have a low shank machine and want it to be 1/8 thick but I can still use it enough to love it. Highly recommend - conch shell, V, straight edge and scallop. Good markings so you can stay where you are and know how to maneuver the ruler.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Not suitable for low shank sewing machines

This is a very well made tool with multiple templates for free motion quilting with a ruler. However, its 1/4 inch thickness makes it difficult to use on low shank sewing machines, limiting tool placement relative to the ruler foot. It should not be placed near the back of the presser foot as it will be in the set screw or shank. It can be used (with caution), but not easily. I don't blame the tool. As someone just learning free motion quilting, I was unaware of the problem with these 1/4 inch…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

Excellent Multipurpose Quilting Ruler

Good multipurpose tool for short distance quilting. This is useful for quilting a lot of small places where you want to use a ruler. It can turn a corner and trace a curved appliquΓ© if you know how to use a ruler when quilting. I have a sitting long arm and use rulers with it. I used to use rulers on my home sewing machine sometimes, but it's definitely harder; However, I wouldn't be afraid to try it that way. I don't think this should be your first quilting ruler. I think your first one should

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
