My only complaint is my own stupidity.

This is a great, solid cable, but that's my fault. I thought my monitor (this one of 3) uses HDMI, but it actually uses Display Port (boy, they're similar if you're not careful). Just make sure you pay close attention. I saved it with no problems. After all, I could use it. I have a high-end graphics card with DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI and VGA. My monitor with displayport is barely big enough to reach it so I bought this 8ft cable.

Pros
  • HDMI cable
Cons
  • There are flaws

HDCP 2.0 does NOT work, only 1.4 HDCP at max resolution 1920x1080

I bought this because I needed a little more distance to connect my computer to my Roku TV to act as a monitor. However, the television could only output in HDCP 1.4 format and with a maximum resolution of 1920x1080. I tried using the cable on other devices (Apple TV -> other TV) and it still didn't work. I don't know what quality control this cable went through, but it doesn't meet the standards they post on the website. It was too late for me to realize this as I had previously used it on…

Worked great with 3 different sized SecurOMax cables daisy chained

I bought two 15ft cables first to see how well they worked daisy chained together (because I wanted to run one in the wall). They worked great with my Apple TV 4K/15" SecurOMax cable/outlet/15" SecurOMax cable/outlet/other 3" cable/4K TV. needed in the wall) and a 3' and all is fine in mine : Apple TV 4K / 15" SecurOMax Cable / Wall Socket / 8" SecurOMax Cable / Wall Socket / 3" SecurOMax Cable / 4K TV Configuration . So far so good and there is no "snow" in this configuration like some of my…

As best advertised in Video Cables

Received my cable a day earlier than expected (which I'm not complaining about). First off the quality of the cable is great, it feels heavy, I'm not sure if that means anything other than it doesn't feel 'cheap'. Fished through the wall with no problems. The only thing I noticed with hindsight is that the TV is leaning on the cable since it's plugged in directly. I had to adjust the TV mount so that the TV was pressed against the wall instead of leaning forward. Just food for thought! I will…
