Description of Unlocking HiLetgo Development Breakout: Mastering Internal Settings

The MCP4725 is an I2C controlled Digital-to-Analog converter (DAC). A DAC allows you to send analog signal, such as a sine wave, from a digital source, such as the I2C interface on the Arduino microcontroller. On board are SCL, SDA, VCC, and another GND for your basic I2C pinout. If you are looking to have more than one MCP4725 on a bus, the pull-up resistors on this board can be disabled just check the Hookup Guide in the Documents section below for instructions and tips on doing this.store settings. Digital to analog converters are greInternal EEPROM to store settingsat for sound generation, musical instruments, and many other creative projects!.

could only get 60 and 61 to work

Only managed to get addresses 60 (all open) and 61 (any combination of jumpers on the address bar) to work. Bought 2 so tried both for address selection. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I'll look elsewhere to complete the project - maybe on a SparkFun board. Otherwise they work great with the RPi.

Pros
  • Parts of the robot
Cons
  • are unreliable

Works great, they all have the same address (with a bit selector).

Great job. All addresses sold by this seller are the same (2 addresses). So to get 4 addresses I ordered chips in different versions and then soldered them to 2 of these boards. This allows you to use up to 8 of them on a bus. The chip itself is pretty linear and the i2c support (and change persistence) works great.

Pros
  • Robotics
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

*Instructions for use*

I use it for my IB phy IA experiment. I have used stm32 with keil MDK and it works fine. , 64 samples for each period. Here is the procedure for you to use it properly. First you need to select the i2c address by connecting GND (0xC0) or ACC (0xC2). If you want to use it, please check the mcp4725 datasheet (I as a Chinese high school student can read it, it's not that hard) Short summary: if you want to set 4 volts out of 5 volts, the value is 4/5 * 4095 = 3276 Or then you transfer 4 bytes via…

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Some errors
