Super sharp screw that makes it easy to screw into tree. 360 degrees of rotational adjustment and 220 degrees of vertical adjustment. Supports all trail cameras with 1/4" x 20 threaded insert on bottom. Great for placing trail camera in exact desired location.

Great idea, you only need a lock washer or a non-pressurized mechanism to mount and adjust the lag chamber. Whether the wind or a bird, a squirrel or a deer outside comes into contact with it. The trail camera is good and solid, but didn't take any pictures. I came back later and found that the camera was tilted all the way down. The weight of the chamber eventually knocked out the friction wing nut. Adding a lock washer should fix the problem.

Screws snugly and securely into cedar wood

I had no problem screwing this bracket into the cedar wood. The mounting threads on this Browning camera feel solid. Doesn't seem to be particularly durable, although I'll have to see a few photos on a windy day before I can make a final judgment on it. If a deer, coyote, raccoon, or any other animal we have stumbles over it as it passes by, I suspect it's crooked. Also, this mount didn't fit my Wildgame Innovations camera. But it goes with all my Brownings. To update. bought in February 2020…

Does what it says on the tin but could do better

If you pocket it and forget, you're fine. If you want to move the camera, it's a pain. It is best to drill a hole to facilitate assembly. There isn't enough to hold onto to slide and twist without a hole, at least not as easily as I'd like. When it's on a tree, it's difficult to adjust the view. You can move the camera to the ground or sky, fine, but trying to adjust left or right is a problem - you rotate the whole thing 90 degrees, but then you make your left/right choices and lose the…

Outperforms the strap by miles

I have six of these. The device is durable, keeps the camera steady and is easy to adjust. I saw a comment where the user comes back and states that the camera has failed due to a failure of the locking mechanism that holds the camera in a stable position. I didn't have this problem at all, even in very windy conditions. My guess is that they didn't tighten the lock nut enough, lost the locking mechanism's rubber washer, or some unusual event happened that made the camera move. Another…

It was easy to install and remove to move with my portable drill and 3/16 bit. You are basically guessing where and how to install this holder. You don't really know if it's working until you take a few shots. We planned to put in some 4" round fence posts and painted green. Too much sun and either too high or too low. Eventually I placed it in a tree with shade and a good view of the field. I had to lower it twice and it was up again it's no problem. I'm giving it four stars because I don't…
