🎨 Holbein Artist Gouache Set: 18 x 5ml Tubes for Vibrant, Professional Artwork Review

Honestly it's so great because gouache is such an expensive material. I've been looking for a cheap kit for a long time and this is the answer to my prayers! It comes with all the colors you need and you can definitely mix and match to create more. Typically, tiny tubes of gouache are about $7 each, and this set saved me a ton of money. The consistency is excellent, a little color is missing.

Beautiful rich color that blends well, so smooth and matte. I wish the tubes were bigger and yes they are expensive but omg what great colors. They are bright but can be muted using basic color theory. . They lay flat and dry to a clean, flat matte finish. I use them on both card stock and colored heavyweight paper, both for full color drawings and for highlighting on other paper work. Very satisfied

Excellent set. Holbein Gouache is extremely opaque so you only need a small amount and you can dilute it with water and still get a really opaque colour. For this reason it will accompany me for a long time. My other set is Winsor and Newton, they are just as good and some colors are more opaque than Winsor and Newton. To be honest, you can't beat Holbein. Bright, rich colors with no oily residue or dirt. Chalky but not sticky. Water responds beautifully to this and I have spots on old pans that are 4 years old that still activate like new ones. This set is a good budget option, albeit a bit small. This gouache is great quality with vibrant colors and you only need a little to get the full effect.
