Simple modern bench with storage

I thought the slats under the bench might be too wide for shoes, but it's handy for storing my slippers and baskets. The hardest part of the assembly was laying the pillow. I ended up drilling pilot holes to make things easier since no holes will be drilled for you.

Pros
  • Convenient to use
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Mounting material is not included in the scope of delivery.

Arrived quickly, looks good. But the assembly parts in the box are NULL. No screws, nuts, bolts or tools. It's so incredibly frustrating that this absolutely essential part of the product can be overlooked during packaging and shipping. Terrible quality control, be vigilant before buying from this seller.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Learn and easy to assemble

It was easy to assemble and I didn't need any instructions. A small Allen/Phillips key wrench was included, but I used my own drill bit for ergonomics/time reasons. Everything fitted as expected. I couldn't find any holes in the bottom of the pad for the screws so I centered the base on that and just screwed them in. Two adults could easily sit on it at the same time. The lower shelf is ideal for one or three pairs of shoes. I feel stable and don't bend when I sit on it.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • No paint needed

Cute Bench With Shoe Rack

This is a very cute bench with shoe rack. Post Covid we no longer allow shoes in the house so I keep them at the entrance which is very convenient. It was easy to build and had all the tools needed for assembly. Natural bamboo is of high quality and smooth surface. The beach pillow is a bit tricky to install but I managed with a drill. It was holding up very well but I did hear it pop a few times when my 150lb son was sitting on it but so far so good.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Not Sure

It's perfect for us

This family has many shoes. We needed a door solution and it was just perfect. We already had a jute and rubber rug and it was perfect for her. According to my husband, assembly was very easy. I really like the look of natural bamboo, it has nice round legs that remind me of bamboo massage sticks. All woods are very smooth and hard. The seat is made from a canvas/linen/jute material that feels very durable. We love this bench!

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • We have almost everything

NOT easy to assemble.

I would return it in a heartbeat if I bought it. As soon as I got the box off the porch I realized that this wasn't a good item, it was too light. When I unpacked the parts, the first thing that struck me was how thin the seat is. The board under the padded seat is very thin and I could bend it with my bare hands. If someone over 100 pounds sits on it, it will likely break. Then there are its claims of ease of assembly. There are no pre-drilled holes for the included screws on the underside of…

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Tape

Not as strong as I thought! See update

The base was very easy to assemble. I just did it in a few minutes. However, the seat was difficult to attach as there were no holes or rails. I overcame this problem by getting the seat as level as possible on the base and hammering in some screw holes with the tool and screws provided and a hammer. It wasn't an easy process, it took forever and I was sweating, but the results were good. If you have a drill, be sure to use it. I would say if you don't mind stacking shoes on top of each other…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No mold required
