This card set has the best high gloss finish I have ever tried. This doesn't mean you should use it to apply makeup in the morning (although you could in a pinch) as it obviously doesn't have the smoothness of a glass mirror, but its reflectivity is pretty close. And it's a good heavy weight, so it's not easy to scratch.

I bought them at a very low starting price which has since gone up. I use them to reflect/redirect plant light. They are quite thick but not independent. They're generally smooth and have a nice finish, but don't think they'll make a decent mirror unless you're building a dollhouse.

If you are looking for a replacement mirror, this product is not for you. The reflection isn't mirrored and some people seem disappointed by that. These are thick cardboard sheets, 10 per pack, with a reflective coating. They are great for crafts and the like. They are not intended to replace mirrors. They are great for baby therapy and crafts. I immediately reordered.

I use them as reflective plates for photo jewelry and they work great. There are just enough of these to cut out pieces to guide the highlights, and they're sturdy enough that if you tape the two together with loop tape, they'll stand up on their own. They are the thickness of standard cardboard. NOT thick "boards" as the name suggests. But I can assume they're great for scrapbooking and sturdy enough for what I use them for. I might mount them on styrofoam for more rigidity.

Like the other reviewer, I bought these to use as photographic reflectors when photographing small items. They cast a fair amount of light and set nice highlights. I have also used them as a surface for shooting jewelry. However, the "boards" need to be attached to something else before use, and they need something to help them stand on their own.
