Suitable for Shimano Pedal Rebuilding

I have several Shimano mountain bike and road bike pedals. As I love my long out of production PD-M747 I decided to buy some replacement kits. But it also means that the pedals I buy are heavily worn. So I learned how to disassemble and reassemble these pedals. And 100 bearings are enough to make 2 sets of pedals. Those bearings, some lube and cleaner and now I have 2 sets of spares for my bikes. They've gotten a few hundred miles so far and I expect they'll have many more miles to go with no…

Check bearing size

I've had a couple of what I think are regular MGN C blocks. I wanted to see if swapping the balls would make a difference as mine don't slide as smoothly. I don't know how many different types of ball bearings there are, but they were too big for my blocks and rails. The blockage still persists, but the friction is much greater, making the problem worse. I used Slick 50 Oil and cleaned it thoroughly before installing. All I can say is measure first. I thought they were a fairly constant size…

I bought these to replace ball bearings in MGN12 linear rails. I will say they are high quality but they are not G25. Most of my watches ran closer to 2.34mm than the 2.38mm they should be. The balls that were already in the chute reached almost 2.35 mm, but were not as consistently round. Including this in the slide made it slide really well but also added a bit of sloppiness. After cleaning/lubricating everything the shutter works fine but now there is noticeable play. That being said it's…
