Regulator does not work

I burned wooden crates to get grain out. All of a sudden the flames went absolutely crazy, I turned the knob all the way and it didn't work! I had to unscrew the burner from the tank. This was the first time I used it!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Empty

Igniter stopped sparking after a few uses

It worked great the first few times but after 4 or 5 uses the igniter stopped sparking. Now I have to use another lighter to ignite the gas. I've only used this for light work so it's definitely not overused. I cannot recommend this product and will certainly not buy it again.

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • No Automatic

Good for a cheap Turkish

Have been using it for a few months now and it works fine. You can use it in any position, so far it has glowed every time. I wouldn't recommend using it in harsh environments, it doesn't seem to last that long if you use it every day. But good value for a wrench monkey like me.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Exchange available

The torch itself caught fire, melting the mechanism to turn it off.

We loved this campfire thing until the plastic caught fire and melted the propane shut-off mechanism. We had to use a fire extinguisher to put out the fire and the torch was still pouring propane. Once everything had cooled we were able to remove the burner from the propane tank. I was afraid that everything would explode. Of course, we can't return the torch in a few weeks, so we don't have $30 and have to go back to lighting the old-fashioned kindling way.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

A game that didn't pay off

As mentioned, the ignition just stopped working - in my case after a few days of use. The button still had the same mechanical resistance and a sharp click when pressed, so it didn't look like a mechanical failure. There was just no more spark. Also worth noting: the gas supply valve was not tightly closed. Drained almost a full cylinder overnight. I capped a full bottle, made sure the valve was tight, and brought the nozzle to my ear. The hiss of escaping gas could be heard. It was a good…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

It's very nice when it works. I had to REPAIR the igniter

I bought an Ivation propane lighter about a year ago in 2020. I don't use it much. Was my old detonator a Benz? and it went like this for about 30 years. (I like to use short/thick propane tanks because they don't tip over easily.) The Ivation has been working well for almost a year and I've never had a problem with a tank leak. But the spark/igniter started to get stuck and eventually stopped working. The trigger still felt right. It resisted finger pressure and still clicked/clicked. Well, it
