Type of review

I learned to sew by watching lots of YouTube videos and using my sister-in-law's Janome student model. I started because I wanted to sew a throw pillow and then a pillowcase for a double bed couch. In fact, I did quite a bit with the fabric cushion cover for the student model's couch cushion. I finally got stuck trying to sew both sides and layers of piping together. After much research I bought a Janome HD3000. I completed this project using seat cushions for the swivel dining room chairs…

So far this machine is great. BUT I also had the problem that some users had the experience that the machine only sews in reverse and the reverse button doesn't work. Many users gave it 1 star and sent the product back, but I hate returning things and decided to just look inside the machine to see if pressing the button actually does anything or not. WHERE there was a long pole with a hook on both ends, and the hook that was supposed to attach to the reverse button came loose. SIMPLE SOLUTION…

Great little machine

This is a fantastic machine for those who want a simple all-round machine and want to invest in something that will last long enough to decide what ( if any) is more of a specialized machine type that you might want. And it's a great fallback option should your other car need to be sent in for regular service or repairs. I've been sewing for decades.
