Too small and uncomfortable for my average height of 9 years old!

I was reading the question/answer to see if I should have a child or an adult for my 9 year old. It is medium in size and most reviews say it will fit a child. But the mileage of children is very small. Especially the elbow pads. My 9 year old complained that they were too tight and felt it interfered with circulation. Both gloves and knee pads were fine, but he said they were uncomfortable. I haven't seen any other sizes except adult or child. Just frustrated and disappointed that the size…

ATTENTION SIZE! suitable for knee pads

Order received, goods of high quality. I ordered youth size for my two girls. My little one is 7 years old and slim and my eldest is 9 years old and slim. The youth set was perfect for my youngest. However, it fits my older set perfectly. It doesn't last more than a year. So in my opinion youth size is suitable for kids under 9 years old. But if the child is a bit heavier, I would say that it's a bit small for her. For children from 8 years. Take the next size up, they run small. Got a youth…

Comfortable fit on protective gear

I bought protective gear because I've been roller skating for the first time in 20 years. I'm 5" x 3", 130#, average build so glad to read the reviews. I was planning to buy a medium sized set until other women my size said the pads were too small. I measured as described and was between the medium and large descriptions. I bought a large set and the knee pads and elbow pads fit perfectly. The handcuffs are a bit big, but I can roll them up for comfortable wearing. The pads came in a breathable

Saved me from more pain!

I wore them roller skating on an ATV last weekend when I had a horrible accident. I was walking down the hill around the corner when the path suddenly changed from concrete to asphalt. Inertia! My body flew forward and I landed on the floor. difficult. I punched my chin, wrists, hands, knees and right thigh. The only injuries I sustained were scrapes on Jay Leno's chin, a bruise on my left knee, and a traffic rash on my thigh and right arm. Road rash is the worst! I hit the ground so hard my…

Fell hard and didn't even feel it

I hadn't skated in over 10 years and decided I wanted to start again for fun. I bought these pads for protection as I didn't want to hurt myself. I only use knee pads and wrist pads. The first day I got out, I rolled over a branch and flew forward. It went very fast, but I felt nothing as I landed on my hands and knees. ! I was and still am excited! I got up immediately and started riding again. I had no injuries, no pain in my knees, scratches on my hands, etc. and I fell badly. I'm an adult…

Best pads ever!

My daughter has always hated wearing safety gear, even though I insisted on it. She hated it because the straps were too thin and digging into the skin because there was nothing but a thin strap. And I mean the ones you buy at Target, Walmart, or Academy. I will never buy those again. I ordered these because I saw they have more cuff protection that wraps around the arm and leg so it's more like a slave. The straps seemed thick and wide, and it turned out they were. My daughter loves these…

Priceless: skates, skateboards and scooters

I went to the skate park for the second time and tried to use my skates. At first I could barely keep my balance, but soon I started doing some maneuvers and even gained speed. All of this came at a price: falls - lots of them. I think it took a fall or two to get me out of there. To be honest, I didn't feel anything with these pads. Every time I "come to my senses," I immediately got up and continued my fun. It may sound like a cliché, but I'm grateful for this defense. I ran for hours and…

Stop! Look no further! Buy these elbow/knee/wrist pads now!

My sons are 3, 5, 8 and 9 years old. I first bought 4 different sets of pads so each of my boys would have pads that not only look different so we can easily tell them apart but also match their bikes. Unfortunately, these pads were the only set worth anything. I read all the reviews and thought I would buy pads that would protect and fit my kids. Not correct! This set from JBM International was the only set that stayed in place without slipping off. The main difference is that in addition to…
