My daughter and I love these rubber boots. She wore them to school for several weeks while we experienced our version of the rainy season here in South Florida. She has walked through heavy puddles and pouring rain and has never had an accident or leak. These boots are not made for walking, they can be a little bulky and unwieldy to walk on. Excellent boots. As an adult with children's feet, I'm always on the lookout for quality shoes with a neutral design or non-childish pattern. These boots have good rubber (not too thin or cheap), flexible enough for comfortable walking, but not too thick for me to worry about tears too much. you are narrow I have a narrow foot with a very narrow heel so I really liked the fit of these boots.
